Part of me feels angry that Michael put himself in this situation in the first place. I think there was a misguided and naive arrogance to him, where he felt untouchable and like he didn't have to conform to social norms, and look where it's gotten him!! I mean, to go on telly ten years after being first accused and defend your right to share a bed with an unrelated child is just utter madness. Seriously, what was he thinking? I think by that point he had become so insulated in his own bubble, surrounding by sycophants and people on the payroll, that he had genuinely lost touch with reality. I feel bad criticizing him in this way, especially at this time, when his legacy is on the brink of a tsunami of bad press and he's inevitably going to get raked over the coals by the media and social justice warriors on Twitter etc. But the truth is, this ugly, twisted, sick situation that we repeatedly find ourselves in as MJ fans is in part his own doing. He was his own worst enemy and paid the ultimate price. He admitted himself that he was too trusting and he didn't learn from his mistakes until it was too late. And now his kids and fans are left to pick up the pieces and a good man is long dead. And for what? To prove a point? To be defiant? It was all so avoidable, I think that's what frustrates me so much. Yep I think his family felt that frustration as well. The Bashir doc should’ve never been done. Especially not that one scene. The special he did for Fox was much better and made way more sense. I believe Lisa when she says he was under the influence during the Bashir thing.

Wade also needs to be extradited and serve a prison term in the U.S. for perjury if he’s standing by his fantasy story. If you lied under oath Wade, you need to pay the fine and serve the 5 years pal! This point needs to be made.

So he definitely lied under oath! Either now, or in 2005. (Obviously he lies now.)

I have to say that I’m disgusted that a “prestigious” film festival is actually going to include this on their program? It really does feel that someone powerful behind the scenes is still trying to remove MJ’s impact on the world. I don’t care what anyone says. The Estate have a duty to put the facts out there and address this head-on. A statement does not cut it.

I would hope there is a way for the Estate's lawyers to bring this to the attention of the appropriate authorities...

I hadn't seen this, Robson is a disgusting, cowardly liar. TBH Matty, you're blaiming the victim, saying Michael brought it on himself is not an argument now. Michael died thinking Robson was his friend, Robson and Safechuck didn't have the balls to accuse him when he could defend himself in a very publicized trial but Robson chose to adamantly defend. They're absolutely fucked up accusing him of the very crime they defended him under oath to get millions of dollars years after he died and therefore no longer be able to defend himself.
Put the blame on the criminals/perpetrators, not on the victim.

Aphrodite Jones’ fantastic book also needs to be repackaged and re-released with a few new and expanded chapters. There needs to be a whole new campaign to kill this crap.

If hes saying what I think hes saying, its a general vent of frustration for allowing himself to be put in situations that most other men his calibre wouldn't have allow happen to them. Not victim blaming, just venting.

I know my glass is usually half full so I don't think this is the big issue most of you seem to think it is. I was 20 years old in 1993 when my MJ world came crashing down at the height of my MJ fandom, we got through that and barely 2 years later he was fucking Christmas Number 1. Then even worse in 2003-2005 and then 4 years later he sold out 50 nights at the O2. So yeah. been there/done that/got through it. Another reason why I'm sure is that the Robson story last year barely even made any headline, like I've said before I wouldn't even known about it had it not been for MJ forums. NO-ONE CARED!!! R Kelly is much bigger news, even his own daughter has called him a Monster (feat. 50 Cent). This cannot go to trial, it cannot go anywhere other than just another documentary that will be forgotten about soon. I'm pretty sure. Having said that, yes it's fucking annoying that there's this albatross round MJ's neck that will never go away (unless my wish that one day Chandler or Arviso tells the truth), but we're going to get through this people. Tony won't be wrong

Well, the people who don't know about Robson/Safechuck now will almost certainly know about them once a four hour documentary airs on both sides of the Atlantic.
