I've been preparing my defence argument in my head all day for an inevitable MJ face-off with a college or random stranger and have caught myself mouthing to myself in silence more than a few times. If anyone saw me I would look like some nut job.😂 Glad its not just me then😂. Talking to yourself a first sign of madness.arguing with yourself in preparation is what i call it!!

Who's to say this documentary will defame his legacy? The media have been attempting to do this for nearly three decades now. They didn't manage it then and they won't manage it now. Fortunately for Michael, his fans are too large in numbers and too knowledgeable about the cases to be easily swayed by fraudsters and self-appointed victims like Wade and James. This is a very inconvenient flaw in the plan of the media to bury MJ once and for all. The fans know more than the media, we are the silenced majority, trying to educate people, and what do the media have? Regurgitated tabloid myths from ex-employees looking for a payday and supposed victims who attempted to get a billion dollar settlement from his estate and have continuously changed their stories and been caught out in their lies. I think people are more savvy than we give them credit for, and in this era of "fake news", I think people are more distrusting than ever of the media. A colleague of mine bought up MJ to me today and I was squirming thinking that I was about to have to go on the defensive and have an awkward exchange. To my surprise, she said she'd watched a documentary about him a few nights ago (she couldn't remember the name of it) and she said she felt like it was obvious that his accusers were only after money and that he was an easy target because of how damaged he was from his childhood. I was so shocked and it reminded me that it's not just "crazy MJ fans" who are capable of rational thought and not swallowing the medias warped agenda. Who cares what tabloid hacks write about MJ or what social justice warriors who have no life of their own spew on Twitter? Are these people going to change the mind of millions of loyal MJ fans all over the world who still love his music and wholeheartedly believe in his innocence? Of course not. And THAT is why MJs legacy will never be in jeopardy. This is what I’ve been trying to say since day 1!!!

This is what I’ve been trying to say since day 1!!! Great post Admin, and in fairness you have Tony. Mind you, I believe it a little less since reading that Lorraine Kelly interview. It's rather given me a wobble.

That lie about the insurance company or the lawyers forcing him to settle needs to die, it baffles me the fans haven't bother to read the court papers in regards to the settlement and regurgitate a lie Brian Oxman said. The lawyers advised him to settle because his defense team lost all 4 motions to have the criminal proceedings ahead of the civil ones. The defense strategy would have been revealed in the civil trial and the prosecution would have fixed the weaknesses their case had. Here's the full

Glad to hear that from the Estate. I really hope they are planning a concerted rebuttal, exposing the lies. They are key here. The only thing that may turn the tide is exposing the lies, the motives of Wade and Jimmy. Nothing else will work.

If anyone saw me I would look like some nut job.😂 I have reached a stage where the only people whose opinion I care about when it comes to MJ is his fans. As long as MJ has his fans, he will be fine. And the fans are the most educated people there are when it comes to MJ. Why should I care about the opinion of someone whose knowledge on the case comes from reading one tabloid article or watching one heavily-biased, one-sided documentary that gives a platform to proven liars? These people might think they have an informed opinion, but they don't and we know that. So we need to stop sweating about the opinions of two-bit talkshow hosts and people whose biggest claim to fame is having a blue tick next to their name on Twitter. Their opinions aren't worth us getting riled up about, our time would be better spent ignoring them and not feeding their collosal sense of self-importance.

And THAT is why MJs legacy will never be in jeopardy. Great post Matty. I agree with virtually everything you’ve said. The only thing I would say to counter your post is that this has the potential to cause an uproar that could lead to MJ’s music being banished in public. Judging by the media reaction so far, and the fact we have two people speaking directly to the camera on the alleged sexual abuse they’ve suffered (something we never had with Gavin or Jordy), this could have more of an impact. There could be great pressure for radio stations, shops & streaming services to boycott his music and pressure on the likes of Cirque and Broadway to drop their shows. I really hope that doesn’t happen, but this time there is no prospect of MJ being acquitted, like in 2005. Mike will continue to have millions of fans globally and plenty of people like us who know the facts will continue to believe in his innocence. That won’t change. I’m really hoping that Estate’s response in due course is effective. They have to counter the accusations made by Wade and Jimmy. No point them harping on too much about all the other children who have been around MJ and never accused him of anything. That’s great, but doesn’t deal with Wade or Jimmy. Let’s hope they start to expose their lies.

I agree, but I'm done letting MJ be the public's bitch. It's just not good enough anymore. I certainly won't be looking for this to pop up in conversation but if it does I'm going to fucking school people in a very calm matter of FACT way because I'm sick to death of this lynching.
