Correction Tony, HBO and Channel 4 bought that Bafta. In an ethical and normal world that mockery of "documentary" full of lies, staged shoots and inconsistencies wouldn't have any merit to win these kinds of awards.

Honestly, I would not have even known about it if I had not read a tweet. Most people have far more important things to worry about these days and are just trying to survive. Having a good soul and being attracted to good souls is all that is important. MJ has a great soul and he is eternally happy.

I see it won "Best Factual Series or Strand" - not sure what a strand is, but it didn't even get nominated for the main documentary category. And this isn't even the main BAFTAs, is it?
Not too worried about this.

Disgusting... but hopefully no one will care too much. I'm just gonna go listen to the MJ Sirius XM station and Wyclef's playlist special.

I think the most frustrating part about it is that it gives Reed and the haters another reason to feel smug (as if they needed another). I admit, I got roped into a Twitter war about it last night with a hater. I've avoided those kind of exchanges like the plague since LN aired, mainly because it's completely pointless, and because I firmly believe in the old adage: there are no winners in internet wars, just losers. But I think for half an hour last night I was sick of feeling powerless and wanted to vent and Twitter felt like the only platform to do that. It's funny how you find yourself down a rabbit hole.... I was going back and fourth with this person under the Twitter handle "BelieveVictims", who turned out to be less about CSA victims and 100% about hating on Michael Jackson. And the haters never have any valid answers to your rebuttals, they'll just deny it or write "fake news." It's almost impossible to find a sparring partner who has any modicum of intelligence.

Reed did an hour-ish zoom session thing discussing LN recently. It;s on YouTube for anyone who wants to look it up, but he supposedly mentions whatever he's filming next with the 2 dopes. It's uploaded by one of those anti-MJ pages though, so hesitant to give it numbers. Genuinely surprised he thinks there's anymore mileage to be had out of this after 4hrs of Leaving Neverland. What else is there left to say?

Not only Twitter is a rabbit hole, but I feel sometimes fans give these type of things too much power over them. I'm seriously surprised that some fans think this BAFTA award is worth getting upset about. Maybe because you are British it means something to you, but outside of Britain no one cares or even knows about this award. Let alone in the documentary category. If not for fan accounts, I wouldn't even have heard about it. LN has run its course, the peak was last year, no one now (but fans and haters) care about this stuff. And "Believe Victims" is a hard core MJ hater. I never or very rarely debate with those. It's a complete waste of time. You are not going to convince a hard core hater of anything, nor do I think those people are our target group when spreading the truth about MJ. They are also mental cases most of the time.
