Reed did an hour-ish zoom session thing discussing LN recently. It;s on YouTube for anyone who wants to look it up, but he supposedly mentions whatever he's filming next with the 2 dopes. It's uploaded by one of those anti-MJ pages though, so hesitant to give it numbers. Edit- i most certainly didn't watch it! It's what we already discussed here a page or so ago. Not worth giving it the clicks, unless someone likes to dwell on negativity.

I think the most frustrating part about it is that it gives Reed and the haters another reason to feel smug (as if they needed another). I admit, I got roped into a Twitter war about it last night with a hater. I've avoided those kind of exchanges like the plague since LN aired, mainly because it's completely pointless, and because I firmly believe in the old adage: there are no winners in internet wars, just losers. But I think for half an hour last night I was sick of feeling powerless and wanted to vent and Twitter felt like the only platform to do that. It's funny how you find yourself down a rabbit hole.... I was going back and fourth with this person under the Twitter handle "BelieveVictims", who turned out to be less about CSA victims and 100% about hating on Michael Jackson. And the haters never have any valid answers to your rebuttals, they'll just deny it or write "fake news." It's almost impossible to find a sparring partner who has any modicum of intelligence. Not only Twitter is a rabbit hole, but I feel sometimes fans give these type of things too much power over them. I'm seriously surprised that some fans think this BAFTA award is worth getting upset about. Maybe because you are British it means something to you, but outside of Britain no one cares or even knows about this award. Let alone in the documentary category. If not for fan accounts, I wouldn't even have heard about it. LN has run its course, the peak was last year, no one now (but fans and haters) care about this stuff. And "Believe Victims" is a hard core hater MJ hater. I never or very rarely debate with those. It's a complete waste of time. You are not going to convince a hard core hater of anything, nor do I think those people are our target group when spreading the truth about MJ. They are also mental cases most of the time. Yeah, it took me all of 2 minutes to figure out I was conversing with someone who was more interested in spewing hatred to MJ than advocating for genuine victims of sexual abuse. They don't exactly hide their agenda very well. The timeline being 90% MJ is always a bit of a giveaway as to where their true motivations lie. You're right, it is pointless and a waste of energy. I think I was just irked by their smugness and wanted to lash out. Sometimes it feels good to throw actual facts at them and watch them struggle to reply.

Often haters try to hide behind a fake CSA victim advocate persona, but they are not very smart about it, because they obsess almost exclusively about MJ and that gives them away. The guy is dead. Only MJ haters (and fans in the other side) obsess exclusively about his case. For no actual real victims advocate this would be a priority in 2020.
You can very easily tell apart real victim advocates from MJ haters.

Is it more documented evidence that it is a concerted attempt to lynch mj by trying to legitimise documented lies by giving it an award or am i thinking to much and its just nothing more than lazy judges who dont care one way or the other and pick the winner that had the most publicity when first released? Who are the judges?

Who are the judges? I think there's a bit of virtue signalling going on here, tbh. These awards shows are always called out for their lack of diversity and we live in an age where people are desperate to be considered woke and petrified of being called out on anything by the social justice warriors.... so it makes sense that they would give an award to something like Leaving Neverland, despite it being poorly made, badly researched and tabloid-esque in its sensationalism. Something like Don't F With Cats was actually well made, original and compelling viewing, but these awards don't care about the merit of the subject matter, everyone knows it's all political in terms of winners/losers of these awards.

Yeah i was going to ask what was it up against? Anything that obviously stands out as a winner and shows this was nothing more than agenda ridden.i guess BLM doesnt matter when it comes to lynching mj.

Don't Fuck with Cats should have won IMO. It's a great documentary.

Besides the virtue signaling I think with LN they also are fed with this notion that it's "educational" about CSA and grooming. Too bad it's based on a false story.

Just realised NME didn't even mention it won on their BAFTA report. And NME are awful.
All's well.
