TMZ says it's "apparent suicide" but I am going to wait for the official police statement. I still hope it isn't because that would be probably even more devastating for Lisa. Police so far officially only said this. The wound is in the upper torso, which isn't an impossible but unusual thing for suicide.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their death investigation of a male White adult in his 20s, who was discovered in the 24800 block of Alexandra Court, Calabasas, on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at approximately 6:30 a.m.
Detectives have learned that deputies assigned to Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station responded to the location regarding a “rescue response” call.
Upon their arrival, they located the victim suffering from one gunshot wound to the upper torso.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.

But then again that family is a mess, both Lisa and her brother battling with drug addiction, Danny battling with drug addiction etc. Also Ben looked sad in most photos. It's possible he was battling with depression.
This is horrible news. Lisa hasn't been in a good place mentally for a long time and now this. I don't know how she will recover from this.
