He’ll be just fine in prison since he’s Bi… Wont have the luxuries nor freedom he’s used to but he will deal, plus win all the talent shows. Wonder if it'll have an effect on YANA bring played? Doubt it. Outside of MJ fans most people probably don't even know it was written by Kelly.

I heard that his net worth is now $2m in the red. I just hope no one made any secret side deals that'll cut his sentence short, ala Bill Cosby.

I wonder how he got away the first time. I remember Kelly was on trial around the same time as MJ but I never cared about knowing the ins and outs of the accusations he faced as I did with Michael but I knew even back then about the marriage with 15 year old Aaliyah. If R. Kelly was charged with sexually abusing underage girls in the first trial, I wonder how he got away with murder.
Anyways, I'm glad that creep will finally pay for his crimes even if justice was long overdue for the victims. It's just a shame Aaliyah didn't have justice in life.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if it means YANA won't be played for a while or permanently. Along with that, I would expect some people to be talking about MJ negatively once more in some quarters, but most will have moved on.
It's not over yet for R Kelly as he has an upcoming trial in Chicago with charges in Minnesota in the pipeline.
He's absolutely finished, imo.

It's just a shame Aaliyah didn't have justice in life. “In the Chicago case in 2008, there was only one victim, and she didn't testify probably because R. Kelly paid her off. Now we have multiple victims over 20-plus years ... it is a very much more ambitious charge, but a lot more evidence."

I doubt it’ll affect yana being played, but it’s good there is now justice for the victims

I thought R Kelly was already ditched by all the major streaming services? Which is something I disagree with btw. It isn't their job to censor who their customers can listen to.

Yeah, I guess its tricky as I guess if you're streaming him then you're technically making him money (albeit small amounts if streaming)
