If it's the raid scene, oh, fuck! My heart will be broken in million pieces! π I didn't remember the second surprise raid. I hope cancer made that bastard, son of a bitch Sneddon suffer at least! π‘ Didn't they raid NL in 93 also or am I mistaken?

But TSCM is talking about the second raid in 2004, Michael and his children were at NL unfortunately.

^^If Santa Barbara police just raided Neverland once in 1993, MJ wasn't at the property, if remember correctly.

I dunno, it might make me a bad person, but I don't feel Sneddon deserved a single moment of mercy in his final months and days. If I believed in an afterlife and judgement day then perhaps I could be more compassionate, but seeing as I don't, I think it's only just that Sneddon should feel pain and suffering, given the hell he put MJ through.

With all do respect, fuck that. Sneddon and SB police had zero considerations towards MJ regarding his constitutional or human rights, the second time around that came after him was out of sour grapes and vengeance he couldn't change him the first time, he didn't abide himself to the law to prosecute MJ fairly. Why would I have compassion or consideration for that corrupt bastard that ruined many people's lives, not just Michael's? My statement and sentiment remains.

Apparently the cars are from 1989-93, so it looks like they are filming the 1993 raid.

I have a lot more hostility towards Ron Zonen. Nobody ever mentions he was forced to retire after leaking court secrets to a movie production. He's still alive and popping off in the media despite being openly corrupt and having married one the key witnesses for the prosecution. And the Arvizos are still under his thumb.

Yeah he was one vicious π€¬ during the trial. If you werent aware you would have thought he was the one obsessed with mj, not sneddon

More evidence that they're seemingly going to tackle the allegations head-on. That also makes me more inclined to believe the story about the film opening with the strip search. A bold and daring move if true.
It's sad that it's needed - MJ's art was always for all ages, which this film understandably won't be - but I think it's the right move. It's going to be tricky to execute this well, but the few signs and rumors we have heard about thus far do seem hopeful.
Still, in the end everything hinges on how well Jaafar can portray Michael. It doesn't matter how good the script and production is if he can't do a convincing job. Personally, I remain quite sceptical of the notion that anyone can truly capture who he was on screen. And knowing now that this film is going to contain highly emotional and complex scenes, Jaafar's got his work cut out for him even more than I originally thought. Then realize it's his first ever acting gig...
I sure do wish him success - the kid's got the weight of the world on his shoulders.

Nothing would make me happier than for him to be the second coming of Brando on the acting front, but I am sceptical. The acting in Bohemian Rhapsody was rudimentary at best, but it was still an enjoyable film that did wonders for Queen's legacy. Granted, there feels more at stake here, with the Michael biopic, but I'm just happy they've shone a light on MJ's side of the story.

Louise Palanker and, IIRC, her testimony on the stand was also detrimental to the prosecution case.
