Ukrainian artists are trying to get Spotify to allow them to change the artwork to the below image/video link in an effort to communicate to any Russian listeners/followers.

Small idea with a huge reach, you'd hope they could make this happen. 

One of the lads at work said he watched some Russian news channel one of the nights during the week and he said it would nearly convince yourself that they're right with the absolute tripe they are spouting so you'd imagine Russia are lapping it up with no alternative. The "Ministry of Truth" is alive and well in Russia!

There's a Russian MJ fan on Twitter who talked about how she's afraid of her own husband because he's so brainwashed by Putin's propaganda. There are lot of people in Russia who don't want this war, don't agree with Putin, but there are also a lot who do believe the propaganda. Propaganda, unfortunately, works, especially for people who are bombarded with only one type of information. I know how it works because it's very similar here with Orbán, who I believe is copying Putin's methods and propaganda techniques. The tax paid state television is completely one-sided, only spouts Orbán's propaganda. And a lot of people only watch state television for news. Especially older and rural people. Most of them don't speak other languages and are not highly educated. They believe even the most primitive and most transparent propagandistic nonsense. That's Orbán's strongest base that keep electing him. Even though big cities, educated and young people tend to vote against him.


Right now, Orbán once again plays a cowardly double game. On international forums he condemns the Russian aggression and voted in favor of the sanctions against Russia. At home he communicates something completely different. His state propaganda is already working on the minds of the people by constantly pushing Putin's propaganda and talking points regarding the conflict. And his foreign minister blamed the EU for the consequences of the sanctions on Hungarian economy (like rise of energy prices), even though Hungary too voted for those sanctions. But I'm sure they are not telling that to their faithful. They just use it for their anti-EU rethorics. The real reason why they hate the EU is because Orbán's government is corrupt as hell, stealing all the EU money and the EU is starting to say enough is enough. That's the real reason why they are having a beef with the EU and kissing Russia's ass and selling out Hungary to Russia. As far as I'm concerned they are traitors.
