I know there is only one additional disc, but they better use up the disc to its maximum capacity, as there's so much stuff they could use. I'd be happy with something like this: 1. Previously unheard outtake 2. Previously unheard outtake 3. Previously unheard outtake 4. Starlight 5. Night Line 6. Got The Hots 7. Much Too Soon original demo 8. Behind The Mask original demo 9. Billie Jean 12" version 10. Wanna Be Startin Something 12" version 11. Human Nature 12" version 12. Lady In My Life Long version 13. Baby Be Mine demo 14. The Girl Is Mine solo version 15. Obligatory collaboration monstrosity from out of touch estate 15. Can't Let Her Get Away - The Jacksons Live version Why MrR, are you trying to spoil us?! 😂😭🤣😂😭

Mike from The ‘N’ Groove talking about the box set. The VC will be all over this and it will probably sell out at some point. 40,000 copies isn’t really a lot for the biggest selling album of all time.

You’re allowed up to 3 MoFi’s per household.
This MoFi will undoubtedly sellout now. This is the first album -within the upper echelons- to be released on MoFi and is going to be a massive success. Will it’s success motivate the estate to release more with MoFi? I would love for them to do Bad.

Found this on a forum but the page it's taken from doesn't exist on their website anymore. "Instead of utilizing the industry-standard three-step lacquer process, Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab's new Ultradisc One-Step (UD1S) uses only one step, bypassing two processes of generational loss. While three-step processing is designed for optimum yield and efficiency, UD1S is created for the ultimate in sound quality. Just as Mobile Fidelity pioneered the Ultra High-Quality Record (UHQR) with JVC in the 1980s, UD1S again represents another state-of-the-art advance in the record-manufacturing process. MFSL engineers begin with the original master tapes and meticulously cut a set of lacquers. These lacquers are used to create a very fragile, pristine UD1S stamper called a "convert." Delicate "converts" are then formed into the actual record stampers, producing a final product that literally and figuratively brings you closer to the music. By skipping the additional steps of pulling another positive and an additional negative, as done in the three-step process used in standard pressings, UD1S produces a final LP with the lowest noise floor possible today. The removal of the additional two steps of generational loss in the plating process reveals tremendous amounts of extra musical detail and dynamics, which are otherwise lost due to the standard copying process. The exclusive nature of these very limited pressings guarantees that every UD1S pressing serves as an immaculate replica of the lacquer sourced directly from the original master tape. Every conceivable aspect of vinyl production is optimized to produce the most perfect record album available today." Sounds a bit marketing-ey to me, but I'm sure it'll sound great anyway. Also wonder if these records will degrade faster than normal ones.

I stick mostly to FLAC and what not, so the SACD will do as a present for myself. Those audiophile guys are foaming at the mouth for it though, and MJ threads for a good while used crash after a few pages. This goes to show there's an appetite for his stuff if treated properly and not just mastered per the "loudness wars" era.

As soon as it’s sold out it’s value will almost double. I’ll keep it sealed as a display piece for now and hope they end up doing more MJ as I’d like to acquire an entire collection of MJ MoFi’s. Recently I’ve began to feel that I want to buy a decent vinyl set-up with a good CD deck and speakers, so I’ll either open it and play it in a year or so, or flip it on EBay or Discogs which I can’t really see myself doing but it’s an option. I’ve done a bit of a 360 on my CD’s versus vinyl opinion in the past few weeks. Still love CD’s but am considering getting a bit more serious about vinyl.

Can't Let Her Get Away - The Jacksons Live version They've kept it in their setlist for almost a decade just to spite all you CLHGA haters! 57.23 = me when they broke this song out.

I've seen them do it twice. I would have preferred The Things I Do For You or something. Anything else, really.

I hope we get Mofi releases of every one of Michael's albums, especially if it means they redo the awful sounding Invincible album.
That being said I believe Bad and onward were recorded digitally. Thriller and OTW would benefit the most from this ultradisc release.
