I dont understand why anyone would complain. Its not like the remixes are replacing anything officially. The more the merrier. I quite like all the remixes over the past 7 or so years. I prefer my Beatles in mono (as far as the White album) but I listen to all the new mixes of albums quite regularly too. Same with the solo stuff, except for Tug Of War. edit - Funny enough I listened to the mono version of Ram today (my favourite Maca album) and didn't like that. Seems it was made solely for radio promo. I don't mind mono if it's the only thing that's available but if I can get a good stereo mix I'll pick that any day. Very happy with these new mixes as a result! I've only listened to the few, but will listen to the Red Album over the next few days. I was never a huge fan of the stereo mixes so this album will be a revelation I'm sure.

Bit of a con no? It's a Lennon outtake from 78 that Macca and Ringo have high jacked. Not being a nob. I just can't get my head around the story that this is some sort of lost Beatles track that has been resurrected. George Paul and Ringo worked on it in the 90s when they did Free as a Bird and real love, and they are all on it. It was just finished now because they could extract John's voice properly. Yeah, I know that but the point remains. Isn't it the same as Jermaine and Tito finding an MJ vocal and making into a 'new' Jacksons song?

Jermaine and Tito weren't as important to the sound of The Jacksons as Paul was to The Beatles. Besides, if the Cascio's can find a Jason Malachi vocal and call it an MJ song, then Paul and Ringo can tart up a John demo and call it a Beatles song.

It's 2023. Nobody cares about The Beatles. Most of their fanbase have died out and their corny-ass music doesn't resonate with most people under 50. It's funny that this is the comment that pretty much lead to his ban. Couldn't even let people discuss something without screaming for attention in a thread he had no interest in. 18th number one single. It's 2023.

Yeah, but why? Like I say, I'm not being a nob about this. Genuinely interested . Because you used the 2 Jacksons MJ has almost no song writing credits with. Jermaine has no compositions during MJs time with the Jacksons. There is absolutely no comparison whatsoever. The 3 remaining Beatles at the time received 3 demos from Yoko and decided to release them as "The Beatles". If you want to take them to court over the trades and descriptions act, work away.

Haven't seen a positive review of these new mixes from a beatles fan so far and I'm really wondering what they're complaining about. Am I going deaf and just not hearing how apparently horrid they are??
