When I told my mom about this, she even said "Isn't his birthday in a few days...?". Somehow I doubt that's a coincidence... Indeed... though I find it preferable that they did this now rather than on his birthday, or the day before, or the day after. I remember when Xscape came out and Safechuck's claim made the news literally the weekend before the album dropped. When the Place With No Name single came out, more news about Safechuck's claim also dropped around that same time. Then everything about that album stopped and we've not had another good, all-new material album since then. I really fucking hate how deliberate the timing of everything feels. That was absolutely deliberate timing with Safechuck. Safechuck filed his complaint on a Friday. By the next Monday Diane Dimond published an exclusive article about it. (The Xscape album was scheduled to come out on that Tuesday.) The only way Dimond could write and publish about the contents of that lawsuit that quickly if Safechuck's side leaked it to her deliberately. The documents don't even show up in the Court electronic system that fast... And the filing was deliberately timed to interfere with Xscape and do maximum PR damage. By the time Safechuck has worked on his lawsuit with his lawyers for like 9 months. That they picked that date was absolutely deliberate and calculated. I have no doubt about that. |

I'd normally agree with this but in the current climate we're living, the truth, facts and evidence don't matter. Especially when you have a fucking biased judge who subscribes to the MeToo movement. |

This is what worries me the most: the fact that R&S will win based on feelings, and the media will present it as "close enough" to be truth... and then it will be all downhill from there. Sure, the fans will still be around to point out the facts, and his music will likely still be played in some capacity, but it will never be the same again. Are the judges that made this decision the same ones that would preside over an actual trial? Or would they get someone different? |

The estate wants to appeal the decision in the supreme court but who knows if they'll hear the case. They should giving the unfairness of the situation. |

Truth has ALWAYS needed to be defended whatever the topic because of the constant threat of propaganda. And propaganda can absolutely be a powerful enough force to twist/undermine the truth. I see the success of propaganda in my home country and opinion polls demonstrates how most adults in the neighbouring country believe that propaganda. History tells us how truth is under constant attack from propaganda. E.g., Nazi Germany. No, the defence of the truth has to be PROACTIVE and not simply reactive. And NEVER passive. MJ and his legacy have to win EVERY battle. Any accuser only has to win ONE. That's the difference. |

The meme stood out to me, because I have hope that once Wade and S'chuck take the stand, their lies will stand out a mile, much like Amber Heard when she took the stand. Once people talk, the truth slips out in its own way. I have to believe this, because otherwise, the upcoming trial is a depressing and worrying thing. I'm holding out with faith. Yes, it may be naïve. But it worked with Amber Vs Johnny. |

I presume it will go back to the judges who were already dealing with it . Then a judge named for any trial? |

Anything we say can and will be used against us and Michael by them, their lawyer, or by their worshipers. Not surprising that he's playing victim. I remember Safechuck doing the same in several of his post-LN posts. So disgusting. |
