Hey there, I think I covered that in my post.. IMHO Q had such a huge impact on MJs success with his slick production style, not to mention keeping MJ away from his bad habits in song writing. That Q deserved what he asked for, possibly even more. IMO Q was a very big factor in most of MJs early success.. That is all..

The lawsuit is not about the lack of acknowledgment of his contribution to MJ's albums in the '80s. He was $18 million in royalties - only since MJ's death. The lawsuit is mainly about projects after MJ's death (him not given first right to remix MJ's songs on Bad25, him not being credited on TII - the Estate admitted this mistake, and him supposedly having share in the agreement between Sony and MJ in 1991 - this latter is why he was awarded the most money and this is probably the most controversial aspect of the verdict, and I think the Estate will appeal at least this point).
He certainly was owed some money (the Estate admitted that) but definitely not $30 million that he was asking for. I think even the $9 million is probably too much, but we will see on appeal.

MJ faced much worse and ridiculous law suits which took tens of millions away in days from him in his life. A big deal of his workers were leeches who fooled him. At least this is a friend of his taking money. I'm alright with this.

Yeah. Much worse things he faced. He's gone anyway. Won't hurt his feelings.

Yeah. Much worse things he faced. He's gone anyway. Won't hurt his feelings. Just because there were people who did worse things to MJ than Quincy I would not consider someone a real friend who talked about MJ like Quincy did after his death. And just because MJ is gone it doesn't give anyone a pass to talk crap about him. By those standards we could give Wade Robson a pass, after all MJ is gone he won't hurt his feelings now with his crap.

^^They may not hurt MJ but they'd hurt his children, his friends or anyone else from his family who truly cares about him and not his money if they knew the kind of crap and falsehoods people like that old bitter Quincy Jones say about Michael. No one should get a pass knowing the kind of person and artist Michael was.
If Jones was owed money, (which the estate admitted it was) he should get just that amount, not money he's not entitled to.

Wade Robson is a sad story, but I think we're making this case a huge deal. Q taught Michael countless things and wrote some pretty sweet stuff about him. He even admitted that he said stupid shit about Michael, but when you look at Landis, it's nothing much. Landis called Michael Wacko Jacko and that "close friend" John Branca - sitting beside Landis - didn't flinch. He was and is his friend. Also, Robson's standards are different then what I presented. Robson's standards are utterly shameless and even criminal. Q is forgivable. It's one thing legitimately claiming for money, it's another thing to do it like Robson tried.

His kids have already been through the worst, worst kind of shit already. I saw it myself, Bigi had a little channel on YouTube and a selected few said things which you really won't conceive any personality saying. Paris tried taking her life and apparently drugs, so did Prince. Many times he wrote strange comments and threw unexpected tantrums. His friends and family are quite immune to bad press. But even then, I agree, that his kids must get hurt with some craphead saying somethin' about Michael. Q was not a damn false friend. He said stupid stuff but was with him till the end. That stuff he admitted himself. Q claims his money, said a few bad things about Michael, Earth explodes. "I didn't find a possible way to make Michael fit for the screen, his face was too grotesque!" - John Landis
