It broke my heart to hear how much acne affected his self-esteem, I wish I could've hugged him. It's not always the diet that causes to break out so badly, Michael lived under too much stress and pressure to continue with his success.

This was a tidbit from the Casino book, right? I just can't imagine him smoking it, maybe taking an edible of some kind but smoking seems so unlike him.

I don't know if it's there or somewhere else, but there's a mention of him smoking weed with Berry Gibb. But that was in the 2000s and this interview above was made in 1984, so it's obviously not about that.

If I recall, he mentions persuading MJ to try weed by telling him the Beatles smoked it to spark creativity or something to that effect. It was probably around the 2000s.

Everything went downhill after the second and third degree burns he suffered in that Pepsi commercial changing his life for the worst. If only his petty and leeching family had respected his decision on not wanting to work with Pepsi but NOOO, they were nagging him to accept the Pepsi deal. 😢😠
It was bittersweet to hear that bit, the way he messed up with the interviewer telling him he wanted to be a pimp made me chuckle. 🤭

I wonder how many there are in total. They mentioned a 6th volume at the end so there is at least one more. It's interesting how strong Michael was in his convictions at this point in his life. I feel like he softened a bit as he got older, especially when he left the JWs. That Say Say Say demo is so cool. It's an underrated song. Definitely prefer it over Girlfriend as far as their collab goes. Michael said he wrote a bunch of songs for Paul. Did Paul record any of them? I don't know much of his discography tbh. And Paul's daughter having a crush on Michael, who can blame her lol.

Definitely, he seemed to evolve into a more spiritual person with less rigidity. Say say say is my favorite of their collabs too. I wasn’t sure if he meant Paul’s daughter had a crush on him or she just was a fan of his. I guess it could be both. When the interviewer asked him about cruelty in showbiz and MJ disagreed…damn.

The part from around 3:10 ("But some people are lazy too and don't want to develop a thing") reminds me of someone who we have a full thread about. Especially that he said this in the context of his brothers. LOL.
