Anyone else hate this video?
I will never believe the allegations against MJ, but his behaviour in this video is disturbing imo. Who acts like this when being questionned about child molestation?
He really made it hard to defend him at times. The laughing makes him look terrible.

I feel the same, this video made me cringe so much, even though I know he’s innocent. I remember haters saying it made him look guilty

I think he was just laughing over the ridiculousness of still being asked about those allegations. Maybe he was even on something during that time? But yeah, it's not a good look and I hate that this exists. =/

I never looked at it that way. I think it's obvious that he's "laughing" out of disbelief, he's even shaking his head at the ridiculousness of the situation. I actually like the way he forcefully defends himself here.
"I made a list of things- when I get angry enough I write down what I wanna say and what I wanna talk about, to set the record straight. Because you get to a point where you get tired of people lying. You get tired of situations like this, where people completely lie on me and I'm sick of it."
As far as the laughing in the beginning, that's clearly out of context and before any questions about the allegations were asked. He says "you can't stop him from making noise" and other people were laughing in the background as well.
I don't think it makes him look bad at all. Except maybe for the heavy make-up.

Don’t make excuses for his laughing, it was not the place to do so even though he was being interrogated. Just not a good look at all, and knowing how much those accusations hurt make it hard to watch

We talk about the best things on this forum.
If the press were to suddenly bring this up, you'd all be in arms.

Hey everyone, I'm new here. Seeing this subject made me jump here. Watch this youtu.be/UHRZkdDlPMg?si=_WhkmNIRIYzovtwlIt changes a lot, doesn't it? We can clearly see how angry and Hurt he was by the questions. No wonder why the public video is kept in such bad quality. But why bring this up?... I'm not here to judge Michael, nor the artist nor the man, I came here to a safe space where I can talk about him.

I was reffering also to the quality of the video. The one which is to be found usually is in bad quality with intention. You know how I found this forum? By tipping on google ,,getting perspectives on MJ,,. I'm in MJ,s world since 2 and half years. It's quite a ride but it means the world to me. Long story. I've tried to reach out the fandom but i left soon enough mjj comunity and mj cast is ...bla, so I hope I can find here a safe place where I can finally talk about MJ, not only to myself and ppl around me who are a little bit bored by my passion

I don't agree that his reaction makes him look guilty. People will see what they want to see from it. In terms of the nervous laughter, it's a strange reaction for an innocent or guilty man tbh. Would a guilty person laugh like that? I don't think so. The way I see it, a criminal who'd feigned innocence and gotten away with their crime would care too much about how they came across to respond in such a way.
Granted, it's hardly a good look for his innocence either, but that's why I don't think you can glean anything much about his innocence/guilt simply from his nervous laughter.
Yes, of course you want to see MJ defending himself with passion and vigour, but he already did that on Diane Sawyer. He couldn't have been more adament, more outraged and frankly, more convincing than he was during that Primetime special. The fact that he's not full of that same conviction in this private deposition doesn't particularly reveal anything of significance imo, other than the fact that 1) he's obviously uncomfortable with the line of questionning (who wouldn't be?) and 2) he looks like he's had enough talking about it and seems to find the whole notion absurd.

If anybody thinks they know exactly how they would react if put in the same position, well you're just wrong. Also, the average person probably can't comprehend being constantly sued and having to sit for long tedious depositions with asshole lawyers every few months.

I don't know how people interpret "guilt" into this. To me it's the opposite. His laugh at the beginning is clearly about someone off camera making him laugh. And later he cringes at those questions re. Brett Barnes and Macaulay Culkin. If you guys are so much into reading body language then don't just stop at "he laughed" but also read the cringe and disbelief, him forcefully shaking his head when he's asked about molestation, Brett and Mac.

Who acts like this when being questionned about child molestation? Maybe someone who knows they are false allegations? Isn't this deposition from the Nederland 5's frivolous litigation? Imagine scum like Andrian McManus, Ralph Chacon and their ilk dragging you to court, wasting your time and their similarly scum lawyer (he was later fined by court for hiding evidence from MJ's lawyers) bombarding you with those questions while you know they are lying, they are scum and they are out for money. Just a reminder of what this lawsuit was about and how it ended:
