Don't Matter To Me (Drake Ft Michael Jackson) platinum record in England...
The British Phonographic Industry, better known by its initials BPI, updated its certifications in March, including the title Don't Matter To Me (Drake Ft Michael Jackson) now certified Platinum Disc in England with the sale of 600,000 units.
As a reminder of the story, in May 2018, Paul Anka, who Michael Jackson fans know well as having worked with Michael Jackson on tracks like "Love Never Felt So Good" or "This Is It" (I never Heard), revealed in an interview with the Ottawa Citizen that he was working with singer Drake on a track entitled "It Don't Matter To Me".
When asked if he sang on it, he remained quite evasive in answering that he was not sure, but that what he put on the table was his production just like for the recordings with Michael Jackson where he was a producer and author.
A month later, against all odds, Drake's "Don't Matter To Me" was released online and michael Jackson's voices were discovered as yet unpublished. The relationship was made, they come from unpublished sessions with Paul Anka in the same way as those already known to fans of the King of Pop.
Drake's album "Scorpion", released on CD in June 2018 and containing the track "Don't Matter To Me" with the voice of Michael Jackson featuring, was also released on November 16, 2018 in double vinyl edition. In the United States, this album was awarded the multi-Platinum record 5 times, or more than 5 million copies sold.

The Jackson 5 ABC single, platinum in England...
The British Phonographic Industry, better known by its initials BPI, has just updated its certifications including the ABC title of the Jackson 5 now certified Platinum Disc with the sale of 600,000 units.
If the BPI began counting sales of this title as of June 25, 2006, be aware that it was certified Silver Disc (200,000 units) on June 19, 2015 and Golden Disc (400,000 units) on September 7, 2018.
Note for BPI certifications that since 2014 (Singles) and 2015 (Albums), the sales count has reflected consumption via audio streaming and in April 2018, certifications were renamed the BPI Awards at the BRIT Certified Awards, with eligibility for video streams added shortly thereafter.
When a single or album has reached the appropriate sales level as measured by Official Charts, the tracks are now "automatically certified" by the BPI. Streams are now counting towards album and single certifications and are measured according to the eligibility rules of the charts established by Official Charts.

Number Ones spends its 490th week on the UK album chart, rising from number 32 to number 26 this week. Number Ones remains on course to outsell HIStory which isn't a great reseller. Two or three years ago Number Ones was at 10million global sales. HIStory sold 18million by 1998 and sold approximately 2million globally since then. As Number Ones shows, the world won't tire of his classic hits.

Every artist should have on definitive GH.

There's already 4 isn't there, HIStory vol 1 Number Ones The Essential (the best one) This Is It Also The Ultimate Collection. Like I've said many times, Number Ones sickens me. One song from Dangerous? Pish.

One song from Dangerous? Pish. But it's called Number Ones. And Dangerous only had one number one.
