If there were any doubts, they would have become enlightened. Michael is the King of Halloween: the Thriller anthem, peaked at #26 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, a more than significant achievement for a song released 40 years ago.
In the United States alone, the song was reproduced 13 million times during Halloween week and sold about 97,000 copies.
His iconic short film also reached the million-dollar figure: on Halloween Day, October 31, Thriller had 1.05 million visualizations.

It's a success driving another! Confirming all the projections, the album "Thriller", one of Michael most successful returned to the Top 20 of the Billboard 200, shortly after Halloween.
There is no doubt that the album has made an overwhelming success and has rocked one of pop music's best-crafted eras in recent years. The album was released in December 1982, but continues to chart on the global charts.
After celebrating 40 years of release, the album exceeded all expectations. It's just that the album occupies, this week, no less than number 19 on the Billboard 200.

Michael has achieved new sales figures for the single ''Beat It'' in the UK. According to the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), the song has reached the 2x Platinum certificate, which corresponds to more than 1.2 million units.

"Thriller" peaked at number one, followed by "Beat It" at number 2.

"Thriller" peaked at number one, followed by "Beat It" at number 2. "Beat It" is now in 4K on YouTube. YouTube has put fans in a whirlwind in recent days. First the thumbnails were updated, but then iTunes/Apple Music published the videos first. Then the YouTube video thumbnail was reverted and a 1080p version. A lot of confusion ensued, but the 4K video arrived, 4 days before the release of "Thriller 40". "Beat It" was published 11 years ago. During this period, it accumulated 879 million views making it Michael first 4K short film to reach the streaming service. We're sure "Thriller" will be next. |

The process will only be for few videos related to Thriller to celebrate its 40th Anniversary with the release of “Thriller 40” on November 18. “Beat It” and “Thriller” were shown at the Thriller 40 Immersive Experience in Dusseldorf, Germany last weekend so we believe the next short film will be “Thriller”. We might also have “Billie Jean” in 4K soon. |

in my opinion i think it's good the song Thriller made it to number #19 on Billboard. it's a 40 years old song. let's see what will happen in the next coming weeks or year.
Thriller may not ever be number #1 but i think it's good it got to #19.
