PSB have such an amazing catalogue. Some of my favourites:
It's A Sin Rent You Only Tell Me You Love Me When You're Drunk Heart I Don't Know What You Want But I Can't Give It Anymore Before Being Boring To Face The Truth Love Comes Quickly Yesterday, When I Was Mad
To be honest, that's just the tip of the iceberg. I love Liberation, Home and Dry, In Denial, Miserabalism, My October Symphony, Can You Forgive Her, Vulnerable, A New Life....
Any other fans?

I recently learned that they did a song with George Clinton - now there's a pairing I never thought I'd see.

I saw them a couple of years ago, supporting Take That and they were great.

Not my kind of music. But I do love the Pet Shop Boys remix of Halo Spaceboy by David Bowie.

Its a sin (I love the video) West End Girls Rent Opportunity (Lets make lots of money) What have I done to deserve this Absolutely Fabulous (A lot of fun) In Suburbia
I have their first two albums on vinyl, need to listen to them more. I was a real vinyl queen back in the 80s and 90s.

"Techno, techno, bloody techno darling!"

"This chaos is killing me" - "do you like girls or boys" , only Bowie could get away with lyrics like that.

I love them! I always think of PSB's in terms of albums. Please, Actually, Introspective and Behaviour and the B-side collection Alternative are all essential!! Especially the recent Further Listening series including the reissues of their first 6 albums. All of the Further Listenings include a disc of B-sides, extended mixes and demos. Pop music at its very best. A few of their singles are a bit of a misrepresentation of them such as Go West from the Very album. There's a track on Very called Dreaming of The Queen taken from a dream Neil Tennant had that pre-dates the death of Princess Diana. Listen to that track for an idea of Tennants genius as a writer. Russg there's a Classic Pop magazine PSB's special out right now. It's littered with the usual mistakes that seem to be in every issue of Classic Pop but it's still worth a purchase.

Sounds great, we should get it sometime in the next year. They have a few mistakes, but the Classic Pop speicals have great pictures and good overviews of albums. I have the MJ, Madonna, Bowie and Elton John ones.
They are also publishing a Bowie one in 4 parts and I have the first part already.

Anyone else remember that duet they did with Kylie? I think it was from a musical they did. It was a beautiful song.

They're worth it alone for the pictures, album reviews and interviews. I slightly regret not buying the Abba, Bowie and Elton specails. I've got the MJ, Madonna and Prince ones.

That entire album Nightlife is mostly sublime! I love the way that album sounds, a sort of cinematic quality to it. In Denial was written for their musical Closer To Heaven but the album Nightlife is not a soundtrack for the musical. They eventually released a separate soundtrack and rightly so as Nightlife stands on its own merits. Quality album. The Further Listening version is perfection.
