This thread is the similar to this here with MJ, only with other artists. So put together a one-hour playlist by your other fave artists that you'd show to a non-fan.

Obviously I’ll go for Madonna. This is more to prove that she’s made some stunning songs in the last ten years (plus a couple of other less known ones).
Mother and Father (American Life) Candy Shop (Hard Candy) Nothing Fails (American Life) Ghosttown (Rebel Heart) Why’s It So Hard (Erotica) Beat Goes On (Hard Candy) Easy Ride (American Life) I Fucked Up (MDNA) Bye Bye Baby. (Erotica) Rebel Heart (Rebel Heart) She’s Not Me (Hard Candy) One More Chance (Something To Remember)

I don't really like Candy Shop or Beat Goes On (not a big fan of Hard Candy - as a whole it's probably my least favourite Madonna album). It's also the least Madonna sounding Madonna album. Seeing her surrender creative control to generic pop/r&b producers and songwriters like Timbaland and Justin Timberlake just felt a bit beneath her. She is not Nelly Furtado. She's fucking Madonna bitches! She had always led the way, but with Hard Candy, it felt as if she was playing catch up for the first time. In many respects, Hard Candy is like Madonna's Invincible. Fortunately for Madonna, she bounced back with the superior MDNA and the even better Rebel Heart album.

She must love it also, she’s performed it live on the last 3 tours even though it wasn’t a single. And Give In 2 Me, also a stormer. I hear what you’re saying, but the Pharrell tracks were a match made in heaven for me.

David Bowie (Colours of the Chameleon)
Lets Dance (Lets Dance) Starman (Ziggy Stardust) Golden Years (Station2 Station) Ashes to Ashes (Scary Monsters and Super Creeps) Underground (Labyrinth) Space Oddity (David Bowie, Man of words, man of Music) Jump they say (Black Tie White noise) Valentines Day (The next day) Lazarus (Black Star - I expect Bowie newbies to dive deeper - Plus its his big goodbye song) Blue Jean (Tonight) Sound and Vision (Low) Heroes (Heroes) John I'm only dancing (Ziggy Stardust) Knock on wood (Diamond Dogs) Life on Mars (Hunky dory)
It is bloody impossible to compress introduction Bowie into one hour, I wnet for hits and genius rather than predictable 70s/80s hits, Bowie's later work needs more depth and exploration.
Really wanted to add these 5 too - The Man who sold the world, Changes, Aladdin Sane, Boys Keep swinging and Hallo Spaceboy, but no room.
