Really pissed off.
Been loaded with cold/flu this past week. Come back to work and within minutes of being on shift I am cleaning projectile vomit from someone who had been sick over her bed, carpet, walls. It was even in the wall plug sockets. I spent half an hour cleaning this up. The next day I have to call in sick as I have come down with a sickness bug myself (I'll give you one guess where I caught that) and now my work are giving me grief about being off sick.

Youād think being in a society that is still facing COVID and basically got a serious re-education about how easily germs are spread, that they would be much more understanding of you and actually thankful youāre not at work to infect them too. You took the right approach man. |

Unfortunately in the care industry in general you are expected to come to work when you're unwell with no regard for your colleagues or the vulnerable people you're supposed to be supporting. I've literally been told to "work through" when ill by a manager in the past. |

Saw this photo and looked up Biden's birthday. She's been Queen for so long, Joe Biden was only 9 when she ascended to the throne. Mind boggling!

Iām going to imagine they didnāt think it through and thus didnāt intend it to come off as racist, but itās pretty easy to read that sentence and interpret it as involving her skin colour because they are now comparing the way she looks. Dislike her all you want but thereās smarter ways to go about insulting her. |
