It happens a lot actually. A talented artist or group gets signed and the industry remoulds them and waters them down into a generic novelty act. It’s become more about being a celebrity than an artist. Or they’ll take a foreign artist or group and westernise them to the point where their completely unrecognisable from who they are. Yeah, it's like Dolly Parton. She started out proper country, then she got signed and the record label made her Country. Then she started having hits tits and she became mainstream country then after a while she started recording country and by the end she was pigeon holed as country. I've had a drink. FTFY |

Just a little update on the situation with my ex. As some of you know, we split up because I'd discovered he'd been playing around behind my back. Well he is now blaming ME for him seeing other guys while we were together. He says he wants me back but I need to get on board with eating ass as it's his favourite thing to have done and my refusal to do it apparently made him stray. I honestly tried, as I know it makes him wild and to be fair, he was always very clean, but there's just something intrinsically gross about it, like, you can never be clean enough. He says I'm a hypocrite as I made him to do it for me, but I think he only ever did so in the hopes I would reciprocate, but I just ain't down for it.
I wouldn't mind giving it a go usually, but I haven't had my moneypox jab and I don't want to catch anything.... decisions decisions?

I'm still saddened by Angela Lansbury's passing, it felt like my childhood's granny died with her (Mrs. Potts, Dowager Dutchess Marie Feodorovna Romanov.) The fact she remained active until the last months of her life, it made me think she'd live some more years but Dame Angela Lansbury left a wonderful and vast legacy to remember her for years to come in many iconic roles on film, stage and television.
The last word means that this kind of interview with The NY Times is published after the interviwee's death.
The fact that she was 92 in this special performance for The Beauty and the Beast 25th Anniversary and still went on, made me tear up.
