The documentary Sonic Fantasy, new project of director Marcos Cabotá, debuts in the tenth edition of Evolution! Majorca International Film Festival on October 27.
In this new documentary, Cabotá transports the viewer to Los Angeles in the 1980s to learn the story of a man who one day decided to embark on a project that forever revolutionized the music industry: Bruce Swedien.
Who doesn't know Michael Jackson's best-selling Thriller? It was the album that definitively made him the king of pop in 1982 and sold over 50 million copies, thanks to unforgettable songs such as Billie Jean or Beat it. For the first time, those involved in that project tell the details of the work of the artist's sound engineer, Swedien, and how his talent ended up being a key piece in the history of popular culture.
