Genuinely beginning to think the few people on this forum are the only MJ fans who actually like positive things. Twitter has been even more toxic than usual this week. It seems to me that some fans are bored now (maybe also because of the quarantine) and they spend time with unnecessary negativity and attacks on each other. That Dullboy person, however, is a long time negative one. I have already been on the verge of blocking him a couple of times, now I finally did. He just absolutely loves negativity. I don't know if Bruce did or didn't write those comments on that board in 2005. Someone brought them up here as well a couple of weeks ago. They are not nice and disappointing if he indeed wrote them. But with the Internet you never know. Maybe now he will be given a chance to clear up his position on this matter (Marcos's comment sounds like he will). Also, even if he did write it back then, again it's not nice, but this documentary is much bigger than that. MJ needs positive documentaries now, the fandom should be smarter about it than to let it be dragged down into negativity because of some obscure comment Bruce might have made 15 years ago on some Internet board. Especially if he will take a pro-MJ stand now. I'm not going to let Thriller and a documentary on it be ruined for me, just because some fans want to constantly dwell on negativity. At worst it shows Bruce to be a fickle person, but that's not going to change his work on MJ's albums. Let the focus be on that. |

Can't wait to watch this, it looks amazing.
I'm really glad that at least fans like Marcos are reaching out to these collaborators and recording their stories before it's too late. It's really a pity that Rod Temperton cannot be a part of this anymore...

^I think Marcos mentioned that they aim to finish it by the end of summer and were considering the anniversary of the album's release as the release date. Hope that happens, and indeed also that it can make it onto a major platform like Netflix.

Marcos Cabotá has just announced on Twitter for all those who want news of "Sonic Fantasy", that the film will be released before the end of the year and that it will begin its journey with the upcoming film festivals and then be broadcast on TV.
