MTV Unplugged is perfection! Like MJ in the Bad era to Dangerous era 92, I wish George could have stayed like that forever! Superb artist. Tony, any latest on the LWP deluxe? I take it it was completely cancelled after his death? 20th October with the 'new' single which is a Niles Rodgers remix of Fantasy a b side from 1990. i like Nile Rodgers but he's making out this is a brand new song.

I like Fantasy '17 a lot. I enjoy the original and the '98 remix but this one is right up my alley
The inclusion of it on the upcoming LWP reissue (just on the 2CD set, the 3CD +1DVD set only gets a download code for the remix) is a good incentive for those to buy it.

thanks a lot Jaywonder. I'll be getting the full version. Although the new Nile Rodgers. Fantasy doesn't seem to be listed.
I've had a bootleg CD of the Unplugged show for twenty years, and I reckon outside of Dangerous and Bad it's my most listened to album. I adore it.
i wish it included a DVD of that also.

I missed it out on the first part, but Freedom '90 is quite simply one of the best rousing songs ever. Especially live. I'm not much of a George Michael person (I played some of his hits shortly after he died but never really got into it) but man I love this song. I really love how he sings Allllll we have to sseeEEEEEEEEE, elevates it during the 'see'. Takes it to a whole 'nother level! I'm listening to that new remix that was posted just above and I love how they distort his vocals, especially at the beginning and during the chorus! I kinda lose a bit of interest after the first chorus though. I feel it plays with the different sounds great during the first minute, then kicks back afterwards and that kind of kills my interest a bit. I prefer it to the original version which I'm playing for the first time just now too. That reissue of Listen Without Prejudice... I thought it was meant to come out months ago? Like months ago? I remember around the time he died I was looking on his Apple Music profile and it was due in like March or something.

It was first slated in 2015 as a 25th anniversary of Lwp! Crazy! I wonder why so many delays? They decided to do the documentary which caused a delay which took it into 2016 then obviously he died. I think they delayed it after that so as not to look like capitalising. Then the remix was being made.

always been a fan. well post the Wham Rap era. LOL. however every year i always listen to Last Christmas.
I always felt he was the truth as a singer and Songwriter.
He was a Poets Poet and truly had a voice for sentiment.
dug his Hook work and One thing that not many Other Male Artists can say is that He held his own against Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston,Mary J Blige and Beyonce.
I mean this Cat was the truth and versatile.
as for the colab with Nile Rodgers its cool.
i have an era of GM where it hits the most and always will.
