The only way to meaningfully address the allegations is to dwell on them and spend a lot of time on them in the movie, but I really don't want this to be turned into yet another allegations discussion on MJ. MJ was so much more than the allegations and the public attention needs to be shifted back to his art. Of course, some allegations talk can't be avoided but it also shouldn't be allowed to dominate the movie IMO. Whilst I agree, it needs to be positive mostly, it's important they address it fully enough to make people question what they think they know about the allegations. I had a thought about this recently: all of the accusers are still alive. If the movie does go into the allegations and makes them out to be liars, can they sue for defamation? |

I had a thought about this recently: all of the accusers are still alive. If the movie does go into the allegations and makes them out to be liars, can they sue for defamation? Evan did try to sue MJ and Lisa Marie for saying on Prime Time Live that Michael was innocent, but it went nowhere. So while they might try to sue and make money of it (especially when their other lawsuits are failing), but I'm pretty sure the legal team around the movie will know how to make the movie in a way where they don't give any chance for such attempts. And I don't think the accusers are going to be named. |

I already gave my opinion. we don't need it. The Amercian Dream Movie is the best movies out there about MJ and Wylie Draper is one of the best MJ actors.

Unlike you guys, I’m glad the movie is happening, I just don’t know how the allegations will be addressed and hoping they’re not. I think this is important right now since the individuals in the estate aren’t getting any younger and witnessed history with mj While i don't want it. I agree. everyone who had contact with Michael are all getting older and passing away. This might be great for the new generation. Who knows it might be good. |

LMP's death also kind of made me more conscious of this fact. And Taj should also hurry up a bit and start working before everyone around MJ dies.
