Very unlikely I'll be buying this now, and the chance was low before. Not interested in being sold something that has already been released and sold before. I fully expect to see carousel as well now.
Also, wtf are these amateur hour blurbs for the song announcements all about??

Honestly don't know what would make a lot of you happy.
At this point I reckon MJ himself could rise up and announce the tracklist and you'd still be like 'Yeah, but I wanted Baby Be Mine demo from May 4th 1981 WE ALL know it exists...'

Over the years, I've deliberately chosen not to listen to most of the leaked demos. Thought I'd save myself for an official release down the line. Never bought a single KOP release either.
So I literally still have things to look forward to! Forward planning and all that!
The Toy is definitely one I look forward to.

2 songs that haven't been released on youtube or in any previous years on the cd 2 then I would be completely happy

It's more about being sold a track that has already seen an official release again. GTH could have easily been included on the digital deluxe disc, along with all the other previously released tracks.

Plus it was only rarely available on an international release. On an OTW release I'd be surprised if Sunset Driver wasn't on there even though it was already on TUC.

They made a digital disc with exclusively previously released tracks, and still decided to sell us GTH again on the actual album. There's no reason for it, other than selling us the same thing again so they can fill up the tracklist.

Yes, I have the bad suspicion that other songs that have already been released, such as carousel, for all time and the demo of pyt and scare of the mon, will also be on cd 2. I hope I'm wrong, but it can't be ruled out

The fact is that the vast majority of fans will not have it so it's fully legitimate. Every single GH compilation has songs that have been released a million times before. Disc 1 of T40 we've had a thousand times. None of us will play that disc yet we don't talk about that! Like some of us have said previously, if you've chosen to seek out these obscurities yourselves over the years, that's fine, but then don't complain when they finally get released to the rest of us. It's like those who listen to leaked tracks before an album is released then lose out on the surprise and joy upon actual release.

I’m at peace with the situation and more than happy with what Thriller 40 will be. Since 2009 we’ve had Michael, Bad25, Xscape and now Thriller40 in terms of new music -despite the obvious drama- which isn’t that bad given MJ wasn’t always prolific during his lifetime. This works out as new music every 3 and a quarter years which is about equal to what MJ released in his prime. Obviously we’re just coming out of an 8 year drought but it’s not all bad.

I always thought it was mad some bought KOP in Germany, Australia, France and Italy, for example, just to listen to GTH. This T40 will mark its first full wide scale release as opposed to the limited release with KOP. Of course, some downloaded it rather than buy KOP, but I've little time for those fans moaning it's on T40. They chose to download it. Many, many fans didn't. It's going to be on the disc, so Tony R is correct. Listen to the other 9 tracks and focus on the positives there instead.

I don't want to complain that leaked stuff is officially released, it deserves a release, but it just makes stuffy when you get stuff that's already been released and the estate just doesn't really seem to care for die-hard long-time fans and that there is no more material what we don't know is impossible

If the primary complaint is “they shouldn’t release leaked tracks” then the rebuttal is “don’t listen to leaked tracks in the first place!” You can’t listen to something illegal and then complain when it’s finally being released. If you’ve already listened to it then that’s what you’ve signed up for. There’s only so many complete tracks available from the Thriller era.
