Everyone seems to be going mad for this and whilst I like it I feel like people are over reacting because it's a new leak. It's directly comparable quality wise to a lot of invincible.

This is the side of Invincible I could never get on board with. But then I've never been a fan of the first three songs, so lords knows we didn't need a fourth.
Nice to hear his voice again though.

Always nice to hear MJ's voice on something new, but this is exactly the generic Jerkins-style track I was expecting it to be, unfortunately. It's pretty dreadful.

Well, Privacy has always been one of my favourites despite being unpopular with a lot of fans. This is like a mix of Privacy and Invincible, two of the better uptempos on the album, so it makes sense I would like it. He should've put this on the album imho, along with Xscape.

I prefer it to Stranger In Moscow. Oh, sorry, I thought I was Matty for a second.

It's... fine. Jenkins work with MJ is my least favourite material, this doesn't change that nor does it make it worse. His vocals are good, but that chorus screams Backstreet Boys to me for some reason.

I don't see a lot of people going mad for it. Lot of people on Reddit saying it's not great or even saying it's bad. In my opinion it's not at the same quality as the songs that made it on Invincible. I said yesterday that it would be a good b-side at best and I still feel the way after a lot of repeat listens. Once the novelty of hearing new MJ vocals wears off, the problems with the song become impossible to ignore for me.

If anything, mj built the house bsb live in. Having said that, 2000 watts amd threatened reminded me of n sync and Britney as well, though it sounded more like mj was reclaiming his sound than copying them

It's the "new" song effect. But when the dust settles in most cases it's completely understandable why a song didn't make it to the album. MJ's catalog has very few misses: usually the better songs made it to the album and it were the weaker ones that were left out. I enjoyed the outtakes on Bad 25 or Thriller 40 and it's nice to have them but in most cases it's understandable why they didn't make it to the albums.

Yeah, it's nothing special. It's quite chaotic and sounds like it doesn't really know whether it wants to be a rock song or an R&B song and would fall flat in either category. It's definitely not as strong as any of the opening trio songs. Those might not be his best songs, but they're positively masterpieces next to this.

I think with all the negative news we've had lately, having a highly anticipated leak like this happen put everyone in a super good mood. We needed something cool to happen and, well, it did. Listening to it again it definitely gives off the vibes of the first three tracks of Invincible. Granted, the song being snipped down and compressed to hell doesn't help matters. I really need to hear it in full and in high quality to get a better opinion, but I definitely don't hate it.

It certainly put me in good mood last night because sometimes you really feel the lack of MJ’s presence in the world and a new track is like contact from beyond the realm, or something like that. There’s just so much relentless heaviness at times. I think those of us who like/appreciate this track do so for what it is, not what it isn’t. It’s a Jerkins produced Invincible outtake with lyrics and a melody MJ ended up using on Privacy. It doesn’t need to be anything more than that for it to be enjoyed/appreciated. Not sure why all these experts are rolling up with their critiques telling us all what we already know and stating the obvious. I like a few of the Jerkins tracks. My main issue with them -as is with the entire album- is the way the tracks were mixed, poorly mastered and the sequencing of the album. What’s frustrating to me is that the powers that be could easily remix, remaster the album and also include gems such as CGYWOOM in its original length, form in the very best mix, sound quality along with every other Invincible outtake all on a Deluxe Version which would allow many fans, casuals, newbie’s, critics, whoever to re-evaluate the album and gain some sort of higher appreciation for this era, myself included.
