Yes is my answer. If I don't value someone's opinion, that won't change if it comes to Michael Jackson. I don't consider anyone on the planet a piece of shit because of what they think of Michael Jackson. So if say Nancy Grace, Diane Sawyer, Diane Diamond, Oprah et al come out and say “I got it wrong about MJ!” It’s irrelevant because they’re pieces of shit anyway? There’s no value in what they’re saying because you don’t value their opinions in general and their u turn on MJ is irrelevant and not a positive move forward in terms of public perception and rewriting the wrong? We’ll have to disagree on this one. For me there’s value in that. I don’t like any of these people or value their opinion on anything but I do place value on them saying they were wrong regarding MJ/LN. You're missing my point but we will definitely just agree to disagree then. Your original point was "MJ fans need to look at the bigger picture and let go of their personal grievances with the likes of Wooten". My point is - like fuck I do. You've said you don't know much about him so why expect people to come around to him because he's come around regarding MJ? He's always been, quite literally, everything MJ stood against but more importantly he's just a horrible human being. So yeah, we can just disagree on this one.

I’m not saying fall in love with him or join the Dan Wooten fan club! Just, that the words out of his mouth regarding MJ can be appreciated. Anyways, fuck you! I’m putting the Dan Wooten Fan Club Membership Form in the bin as I speak! That’s your Birthday present gone so now you’ll have to make do with a card with no money in!

I don't really follow the Brand case and have no idea whether he did or didn't do what he's accused of, but this us such a horrible take. Organizations should act based on "rumors and stories" about someone? Really?

Organizations should act based on "rumors and stories" about someone? Really? Whether you’ve done it or not is irrelevant now. If you’re accused, your life is over. The media is the judge and the public are the jury. It’s absolutely sickening. If this isn’t the moment people wake up to this nonsense then it’s really troubling, as it has been for a long time. I thought the Johnny Depp trial was supposed to be the moment where people realised that the Me Too thing isn’t necessarily the right way forward. The whole fallacy of Believe All Victims. Personally I think this is politically motivated because of what he’s said about the establishment. They’ve come for him in my opinion.

I guess it’s been like this for MJ since day one but you do have to wonder if we’re ever going to wake up to it as a society and just say no more!

2018 is around the time his new enlightenment/conspiracy shite started appearing on my YT and Twitter feeds too, I think.

Until he’s found guilty in a court of law, I stand with Brand. 😎👍🏼
In fact I like the ring of that “I Stand With Brand!” I might start a campaign. 👍🏼

I haven't followed the Russell Brand allegations in any great detail, but I've long been sceptical of documentaries claiming alleged crimes.
On another non-MJ forum, these are the thoughts I put down in a follow-up post in response to someone asking if documentaries led to proceedings that turned out not to be true.
Example I used was "Death On The Rock" about the SAS killing of the PIRA 3 in Gibraltar. That documentary contained a number of sensationalist falsehoods. Martin Bashir's two with Princess Diana and MJ were also referenced.
