Many people are insomniacs and didn’t resort to propofol. It was the stupidest way one could die and was avoidable Bit harsh, no? The guy had very understandable mental health issues and was trying to manage it the only way he knew how. Yeah I know he had issues and I had compassion for him, I just wish he lived longer and deserved so much better. I guess I feel he abandoned us sometimes

Easy to say if you arent a insomniac having to live the life he did and all that came with it. True but he earned an awful lot of money as a consequence of the life he had and being fed a drip of Propofol every night to sleep was not the only option he had. It's a mystery whether he went to an actual sleep disorder specialist. In 2009, he went to people who really had no qualifications with insomnia and sedatives. One of the prosecution witnesses, Dr Shafer, did acknowledge Michael's role in this Russian Roulette. But still agreed Murray had a duty of care to say no.

I guess I feel he abandoned us sometimes Way I see it, Michael had no formal responsibility to us and we had none to him. The guy had very understandable mental health issues and was trying to manage it the only way he knew how. This is the crux of it. It's such a shame it had to play out the way it did. And not just him. Prince, Whitney. All so avoidable.

"I'm not in this world to live up to your expectations and you're not in this world to live up to mine." - Bruce Lee I thought of how in moonwalk he wrote something along the lines of fans being let down by someone from drugs, and that’s all I could remember cause I thought he was stronger than he actually may have been. He was so vulnerable. Also, if he had agreed to do another album and not this is it, he may have still been here such a loss

I don’t feel this now, but I used to feel guilty for still being alive when he died. Thankfully, I got help for that. I think it’s my borderline talking more when I talk about the abandonment piece

butterflies2 i get what you are saying. the past couple of months now i'm starting to become one of those people getting tired of Michael's foolishness. he was human but at the same time he was stubborn and i get why people around him who was trying help like they were with him. that stubbornness was bad and many others are saying it caught up with him. love him but he did some really stupid stuff. let's not blame his insomnia though. he was just trying to sleep.

Thanks for understanding and not judging me
I feel he had poor boundaries and often got into codependent relationships, as is common with survivors of abuse. I wish it turned out better for him

How unsympathetic of you Nature. I can only imagine how draining and stressful the rehearsals and the tours themselves must have been been for Michael and on top of it being insomniac. He should have consulted sleep specialists but who knows if he went or had the money to afford such services since that fucking trial ruined him.
I thought he'd only perform the 50 concerts at O2 Arena but there were talks to make him tour around the world in different residencies which would have been insane.

Hey, she’s entitled to her opinion, and I kind of get it

If she's insulting Michael based partially on speculations, she's unsympathetic.

She’s not insulting him, he was a pretty stubborn guy and a people pleaser. That got him far, but also lead to his demise and so many issues

No, the man didn’t commit suicide. With all the shit he went through, what would be the point of suddenly killing himself at 50? Some of you are cold blooded, sad.

If she's insulting Michael based partially on speculations, she's unsympathetic. I agree, it comes off soulless. I also noticed a disturbing trend amongst Michael’s tragic fandom. A lot of them have become resentful towards Michael for dying. Newsflash: he didn’t owe fans a damn thing. Some fans are disgustingly entitled. Most of them didn’t know this man.
