I listened to it and loved it and can't wait to check out the album. You didn't listen to it. Listening to it now actually. Very Jonas Brothers.

Britney fans came together and managed to boot JT from the top spot of the US iTunes chart. Britney's 13-year-old song "Selfish" from 2011's Femme Fatale is now no. 1.
This is ridiculous. iTunes means nothing these days.
However this level of pettiness is amusing.

Well, I listened to it. Not bad at all. Definitely one of his better songs.

I doubt you would say the same had it been mj doing that

Pathetic. Britney fans are the worst. Why, cause she’s female and kicked his ass? I doubt you would say the same had it been mj doing that I just think they need to let it go. It was 20yrs ago and her fans seem more pressed than ever. He acknowledged his behaviour and expressed regret for it. Honestly, the way some folks carry on on Twitter, you'd think he'd done it to their sister.

I'm no JT fan by any means but can someone explain to me why Britney fans still hold a grudge against him? Didn't they both cheat? And ffs it was 20 years ago! Since then both moved on and had a family with different partners. That JT wrote Cry Me A River somehow makes him a prick? When female artists build whole careers on breakup songs and bashing their exes (eg Taylor Swift and Adale) that's celebrated as girl power and feminism. But a male artist has to apologize for such a song? Maybe I'm missing something because I don't really follow their drama, but it's odd to me.

I think the Britney fans were given extra ammunition when she said in her autobiography that she felt "pressured" into having an abortion whilst with Justin. Personally, I think that was a cheap shot on her part. I'm sure if she felt strongly enough about having the baby, no man could've stopped her from keeping it. I mean, ultimately it's the womans choice, isn't it?

Well easier said than done. A lot of factors go into making the decision. She was young and had a flourishing career happening, so it was timing though ultimately at the end of the day, it was her decision, but it’s possible she was manipulated into it or thought about PR and her image

I can image all of these were a factor and if that's the case, like you said, it's not fair to put it all on Justin and play victim.

I think it says a lot about a person when even their own children want nothing to do with them. She clearly struggles with her mental health and in hindsight should probably never have entered the entertainment industry. I have sympathy to a degree - and perhaps with a stronger circle of support she would've faired better - but at some point you have to deduce that perhaps it's not solely everyone else that's the problem.
