I have never been a fan of Queen. I do like a bit of classic rock and of course, I can see that Freddy is a great showman and singer, but there music is just too OTT and characature-esque for me. Not to mention all the camp videos and the masses of filler that seems to make up the vast majority of their catalogue beyond their biggest, most well-known hits.
Sorry to any Queen fans, I just really dislike them.
Do you guys have any huge/legendary bands or artists who you just don't get?

Queen would be one of mine too, for the same reason. Their music is so corny.
Another one would be The Beatles. Yes, I acknowledge and respect the influence they had, and I do enjoy some of their work, but I just have never gotten the hype. Good songwriting (at times), lackluster performances. The classic Beatles vs Stones argument is a no-contest for me (though I think the comparison is pretty nonsensical).

I know there are many fans of them here but I never got thr fuss over Prince and George Michael.
I don't deny Prince was a very gifted musician but when he was on his peak he was too sexual and some other times ridiculous for my liking. You accused Queen of having campy videos but on I Want To Break Free they were parodying soap operas for example. I didn't get what Prince was trying to express or accomplish flashing out his bare butt and simulating sex with one of his male musicians, that was beyond camp. Although I like some songs from Purple Rain, Batman and the Musicology single.
Neither I deny George had a great voice but hw bored me.

The Beatles U2 Beyoncรฉ
(I love Queen. Being campy is not a minus to me. I like the fact they didn't take themselves too seriously and they were not snobby. Sure their studio albums have a lot of fillers, still their catalog produced enough great material for two discs of a great GH album.)

Those who don't like Queen need to get past the stadium 80s rock and listen to the more obscure album stuff.
Those who don't like George Michael are just wrong.
For me, it's Blowie but I think that's just me, I fully get how amazing he is, but I just can't get fully into him. Same with Beatles to a certain extent, I can't get past the obvious hits to explore them more.

A couple of months ago a co-worker named Queen to me as the music he hated and I remember thinking it was weird because I never before heard someone say they hated Queen. Apparently I was just in a Queen loving bubble so far. LOL.

Dire Straits. Mark Knopfler's voice gets on my tits and I don't even have tits.
Spice Girls. Simon Fuller is a genius to have made such woeful singers so big. Although Mel C had/has a good voice.

Sting's vocals complement the track and it fits so well to Famous for Nothing "celebs" like The Kardashians, Paris Hilton, etc. as for the Spice Girls, I admit I kind of into the craze for them (no one else has beaten my obssession for Michael) as a child but as fast as they came, I got over them. Watching live concerts, you saw Mel C. was the only good singer, she should have been more successful than Gerry Halliwell.

For me, it's the Bee Gees. Sorry Michael, I know you loved Barry Gibb, but their singing style really gets on my nerves. They were pretty good songwriters though.

The other brothers voices were OK but Barry's is like an annoying shriek, I don't know how to explain it. It's not pleasent. I prefer Whatzupwitu by a landslide than All In Your Name even though it's a bad song.

Whatzupwitu is a guilty pleasure for me. It's such a stupid song, yet there's a certain campy charm to the video. The MJ/Eddie bromance is kind of adorable.
The BeeGees just had a very unique singing style that obviously plenty of people like, but is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. As an MJ fan you'd think I wouldn't mind falsetto, but their high vibrato-heavy falsetto harmonies literally sound like chipmunks to me. Their songs sound better covered by other people IMHO.
