In the UK Charts this week, One of Michael Jackson compilation is waving in the top 100!
As millions of fans all around the world have been playing his song “Thriller” non-stop around Halloween, Michael Jackson’s greatest hits compilation Number Ones improves again on the albums chart.
Number Ones has now lived on the ranking of the most popular albums in the U.K. for 520 weeks, or exactly 10 years.

I guess it's because of the red vinyl. I didn't expect that to boost sales. LOL. But if so little is enough to boost sales why would the Estate bother with more?

Walmart were selling the limited edition silver edition for $15, on top of the fact it was a record store day release this should have helped. Brilliant news though, 1993!

Large part of me is glad they don't, but still.

Damn I would've killed for a $15USD vinyl of Dangerous! That's exceptionally cheap for a 2 LP record in any context. I paid $70NZD 10 years ago for a second hand 1991 pressing, which doing some quick maths would account to like $53USD today! Then again, Dangerous on LP was a lot harder to find in NZ back then. It's an original pressing too, I think
