I hear ya but Chaplin wrote Smile. The criteria is that it’s 3 in row written primarily by MJ, I think? Seriously, we spend so much time talking about Dangerous and Invincible and never talk about HIStory, which is easily better than both imo. I blame Tony. It’s a stunning album mate. Track for track it beats Dangerous IMO. And I love Dangerous, but HIStory is his magnum opus!

Weirdly I don't listen to it as much as the others, mostly because it's the kind of album I don't think you can really play here and there, like respect77 said the other day, it's more a concept album. I also don't like to whore it too much, because it's a special record for me. It still gives me the feels when I do play it though. I suppose someone ought to resurrent the HIStory thread.

I think tomorrow I’m going to set the 77 minutes aside and listen to it straight through. Resurrect the thread. I tried looking for it and couldn’t find it.

Gone Too Soon doesn't get enough love. Every second is exquisite - it has to be in his top 3 ballads for me. And could it be any more perfectly placed on the album?

This performance flies under the radar. I’d love if all of his rear/tv performances were collected on one set and released.

Thinking about that time when TonyR said that CLHGA was a minute too long Presumably you don't mean the last minute, as that's clearly the best part of the song.
