Some really nice Bad Tour footage was shared recently. MJ absolutely killing it on Another Part of Me at 2:26 in Cork. You can tell that's 30th July 1988 because the seats by stage right are full whereas they're empty on the 31st. I was a kid at the time and wanted to see Michael live on the Bad Tour. Liverpool and London were out of the question due to expense. That left Cork which was also completely out of the question due to the security risk PIRA posed to us, especially south Armagh PIRA. So, it'd be another 11 years before this little boy fulfilled his dream of seeing Michael live on stage - Munich 1999. And then NYC two years later. Bad, Moonwalker, The Legend Continues and the tour were all amazing escapism from the security realities of life at the time, even after PIRA murdered a relative and chased our car too. But, yes, lovely footage and Michael was in incredible form consistently throughout that Tour. The Mania spoke for itself! Someone got me the Tour t-shirt from one of the UK & ROI shows they went to. Don't remember which one, but probably was Cork or Liverpool. Those 3 are very special to a few of us here. Sorry to hear of your family loss. Very tragic. I saw MJ in 97 in Dublin. My one and only time. I love the way MJ pulled these seemingly one-off little moves on different shows during the Bad tour. So much finesse and style. MJ seemed more like a rockstar on that tour. Insane charisma.

If you have any video, audio or photos I’d really appreciate it if you would share them. I saw Frank Dileo outside the stadium talking to the security and I knew who he was, but I don’t think anyone else did know. I wish I’d had the ability to run up to him and ask him if we could go in but my I was an extremely shy 9 year old. So close yet so far.🤦🏻♂️ We’ll have to wait for time travel to go back and attend these shows mate. Pretty sure there's a news report on the 31st with some empty seats. Will look at some point tomorrow for some footage - very short tho! Definitely more available from 30th.

Insane charisma. Almost 7 months to the day after Michael performed at Cork, so it was. Remember well we were picked up by the army's chinook helicopter. I'm sure that stuff meant Michael never performed in Belfast. Stormont Estate would have been a great location as Elton John showed later in 1997. At least you can say you saw Michael live! Millions, nay BILLIONS cannot! Anyone who saw him LIVE at any point in his long career were lucky buggers! Everyone else were lucky to be living at the same time as Michael, even if many didn't appreciate him. Agreed - Michael was more than a popstar during Bad! More than a rockstar! Global royalty as even world leaders wanted to see him! I've no doubt someone has sold their Granny, dog and kidneys to see him on THAT tour! Typhoon Michael, indeed! Thanks for that Japan! Earl of Whirl - cheers Blighty!

I wonder if any news stations from Northern Ireland covered it? Anything’s possible I guess. If you stumble on anything at all please share it if you can. It’s hard for me to comprehend that MJ performed 2 Bad tour concerts in my backyard and I couldn’t go.

We saw him live which in itself is a life goal achieved. He was right over my head for Earth Song. That’s my defining memory of that concert.

Now that you say it... It's definitely suspicious. Especially with the second column being a "U" which means "does not comply with assignments or instructions".

Looks more likely that the teacher messed up, what with the scribbles and all. Plus it makes no sense why he'd get A's and B's in everything else and then an F in history.

Ironic, considering he released an album called HIStory lol I didn’t do well in history either in high school but did very well in English, so it is possible

But there's also that "U" in the second column that mean he wasn't complying with assignments and instructions. Michael didn't strike me as a rebellious student who would deliberately not comply with assignments and instructions. Also as a grown up he seemed to be rather interested in history and I think he was probably well read about historical subjects. I remember one of his lawyers in 2005, Bob Sager said once how impressed he was with MJ's knowledge about things like philosophy and history. So it doesn't seem to me that he had an disinterest in history. So I wonder if this "U" was just because he didn't have time to study due to his career in showbusiness?

Looks more likely that the teacher messed up, what with the scribbles and all. Plus it makes no sense why he'd get A's and B's in everything else and then an F in history. And it has a minus next to it. Afaik an F is the lowest grade possible in the US, there is no F-. Or maybe Michael gave himself an A- instead of an A to make it more believable. Edit: It is suspicious that the original grades and comment seem to be written in a lighter red pen and the comment was scribbled over in a darker colour pen, the same colour that wrote the A-. So maybe he did change his grade, or someone else did before publishing his report card. It's possible he failed not because he was bad at History but because he didn't complete his assignments.
