Thriller was #2 on Apple Musics top 100 albums of all time countdown. It's garnered quite a lot of interest for some reason on social media, so that's a good result for MJ.
Miseducation of Lauryn Hill was #1.

Of course, I knew that MJ only got one R&B award for OTW, but checking the page of that year's Grammys I'm just noticing how crazy the snubbing was. He wasn't even nominated in any of the other categories! It's so wild how ignored and overlooked that album was. He was absolutely right to be so pissed about it. Michael had been either snubbed or robbed at The Grammys overall. The 1988 ceremony was such a laughable bullshit that it's considered one of the worst years for the Grammys. It's beyond me Dangerous didn't have any award but best engineering. Thriller was probably the exception because most people were buying it, the hits and records it had

Even if they don't speak English, they understood the message and their comments are so positive which is heartwarming. It never ceases to amaze me how universally appealing Michael is and his ability to bring everyone together.

A friend sent me a video of a guy performing Billie Jean on an acoustic guitar at a bar in San Juan yesterday. The whole bar was singing along. Michael's legacy is alive and well!
