Just posted this to my personal and professional social media. I feel it's important to tell people what to expect lol
"Tuesday 06/25 will mark 15 years since we lost humanitarian, son, brother, father, husband, extortion / media bullying victim and greatest entertainer of all time: #MichaelJackson
Here's a heads up that I'm probably gonna post about that quite a bit between now and Tuesday π"

I can't believe it'll be 15 years without Michael as of tomorrow. Same... I kinda wish I was in LA again this year.

More from my personal fb page and the podcast twitter:
"It's funny to me that when it comes to "the media", everyone claims to be skeptical. However, when it comes to one specific person, people just go "this is a fact because the media told me so".
For my part, I'm glad I got over my initial ignorance, did my own research over many years and found out that the guy never hurt anyone, let alone a child. Having said all of that, today marks 15 years since we lost Michael Jackson at the young age of 50. I wish the world had treated him better while he was here and I certainly wish people wouldn't believe eveyrhing they hear without looking into facts, but it is what it is.
This day is usually very up and down for me, but I think I'm gonna spend a lot of today celebrating his legacy instead of being sad π"

15 years is unbelievable.
I mean it's almost the same space of time between OTW and the HIStory, which seemed like a lifetime at the time.
Also, the lack of traction on here shows how used to it we all are.
Anyway, still miss him. But the music and art lives on forever.

Can't believe it's been 15 years already... last year it hurt a lot more than usual, but this year, despite being a somewhat significant anniversary year number... I just feel numb. I guess last year was so intense I can't muster the same sadness this time. Although there was also that shitty news the next day which totally killed any high (low?) I had...
It does still hurt some, though... knowing I can never be near him... never talk to him... fuck.
I love you, Michael.

I will never forget that day - a bright, sunny day that became one of the darkest days. 15 years on and my grief has transformed into gratitude, I am thankful for all that MJ shared with us during his short time on earth. I celebrated his work yesterday by listening to Dangerous and some Jackson 5.

Hi, all! Newbie here, so my apologies if I posted this in the wrong forum/thread. But this video came across my YouTube feed a few days ago. I was pleasantly surprised to see a younger person outside of the fanbase have the balls to create and upload a video that presents the facts surrounding the allegations (especially in such an entertaining, palatable way). I hope this video continues to gain traction and reaches more casual fans, detractors, and doubters.
