Another half marathon today. Annoyingly 10 seconds longer than last week!!
1.52.52.
If I'd have realised I'd have sprinted the last bit!!

First 10 miler in over 8 months yesterday, and it felt good so next week is all about cutting my diet and getting a bit quicker over shorter distances.
Managed a 10k hike this morning too and recovery was great. Beautifully tired today, I missed that feeling!

Yeah, on a day you'd do around 5-6k. Do a 1 or 2 mile warmup, then do around between 8-10 x 200 to 400m up, rest and jog back down, then a 1 or 2 mile cooldown. It will do wonders for your pace. I found that running up a mountain every once in a while went a long way towards my pace too.

First swim in a couple of years yesterday. Feel amazing after it, few laps of aqua jogging really have my legs feeling so fresh.
10 miler tonight, first midweek one in 8/9 months.

Oh it went super. Check my run from yesterday. Was away for the weekend and ran up the Cliffs of Moher. Still waiting a while to add speed work but will run up my own local mountain next weekend and really build on it so the transition is easier.

Didn't run today. Head was pounding so didnt think it was good idea.
Also, I've done 5 consecutive half marathons in last 5 weeks so shouldn't over do it.
Will probably enter Leeds 10m in October.

My knee feels better (was slightly worried about it on Monday). Will do 4m tonight. Have entered Leeds 10m for September. I need to start that hill training you mentioned as not making much progress pace wise atm.
