Downtime (as if I eve had up time) is coming to an end. December is all about building a base for the January start for the Ultra Marathon.
Steady base miles and a mountain run a week to get me through December, with yoga and core work included.
The training plan I start in January actually gave me a fright when I saw it. I wasn't aware of such an increase in mileage over the 2 weekend days each week.
Can't wait to get stuck in and/or die.

Did 8.5 this morning, 9 min miles which is naff, but it is very cold (excuse much?). I need a proper training plan. Will do tomorrow.

Okay, got my 16 plan (Runners World) for a 3.45 finish. More likely to be 4hrs though.
Also booked a half marathon for March which is about 8 weeks before.
Fight starts here.

What's the longest distance in your training plan?

What's the longest distance in your training plan? Thirty miles, Tony. With 14 miles to do the day before. Piece of piss for anyone with their own super powers and comic book series though.
