I'm fatter than ever and too tired to give a shit. Itโs understandably not your priority in life to worry about such a thing right now. I would imagine family, 20 minutes all to yourself, sleep, peace of mind and food are way more important. And rightly so. Mental well-being is key. ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐ผ Well lads, I finish today at 4 and am off to the cinema to watch BTS Bring The Soul. My wife has it booked for about 6 weeks so between the time itโs booked and because of work I canโt get to see Pulp Fiction on the big screen which Iโm a bit peeved about. If any of you guys have the opportunity to get to see Pulp today in a local cinema, TAKE. IT!!! ๐ So, regarding my running which I have loved, Iโve completely overdone it and can barely walk on my right leg. If I donโt run today Itโs 3 days without much exercise. My own fault of course! Iโm going to join my local gym possibly Friday and change over to swimming for now, and hopefully will make swimming part of my routine. Will also -a few weeks down the line- begin some weight training and very slowly introduce it. What I really want to do is join a Karate class but if I do Iโm going to have to rearrange my job around it because the hours we do in support work is so long, as Matty will well know. So my dream fitness plan is; running/Karate/swimming/weights and in an ideal world a yoga class once a week, but my shifts are sometimes 34 hours at a time -with 8 hours for sleep of course- and a lot of the time I do 13 hour days, so Iโm going to have to get a solid plan and see if I can make it work. Well done everyone, and thanks for joining in SoCav ๐๐

Could easily have stayed in bed when the alarm went off this morning at 8am to get to the class. But was really good & set up for the rest of the day.
But sometimes I must admit I may look back some day & think what I fucking tool, why didn't I just sleep, relax & eat more!!!

I always tell myself that not once have I ever finished a workout and regretted doing it.
Alternatively, when you're older and in good shape, I think your body will thank you by not crapping out so easily Plus then will be the perfect time to sleep, relax and eat more!

My miles are faster and longer so getting up early is tough to do yoga, and my body isnt thanking me for it. Racing on Saturday week so Im seriously watching my intake and drinking 13 thousand litres of water a minute.

Yesterday marks 2 weeks since my last run. I think I did some serious damage. Lots of bruising around the knee and a swollen ankle aswell as pain moving around the leg between the the foot and knee. I joined the gym on Saturday 10th and have been swimming at every opportunity, although on Friday 16th I sort of fainted just outside of the pool from overdoing it again. Was back on Sunday and can feel my stamina in the pool improving. Iโve changed over to a high protein diet also and am finally beginning to see changes in my stomach area. Iโm getting a great workout from the swimming. I have 2 free personal trainer sessions also with my membership and will book them soon and put a plan together for weight and resistance training and will keep the swimming as part of my routine as I love it. ๐

It's easily done. Be careful you! Wish I could afford a personal trainer! Let me know how it goes.

I pretty much eat whatever I want, I don't gain much weight but I'm sure my internal health is disastrous.

I find that eating a banana and putting some Vimto in my bottle of water really helps. Just that little bit of carb and sugar just perks my brain up a bit.

You wouldnโt believe how hard I attempted to respond to this in a comedic fashion. But everything I came up with came off as smart ass more so than funny. ๐๐ญ๐
