This week: Monday: circuit Tuesday: bodypump Wednesday: gym Thursday: circuit Friday: kettlebells Saturday: 20/20/20 Sunday: gym I've really lost my running urge which is shit as the weather has been good for it. Need to get my mojo back. Or do I? If I've not being enjoying it then why make myself...? Can't decide. Sea bass and stir fried veg for dinner. Fair play, good going week. Id love to be able to enjoy the gym. Couldn't do it without music. Really tempted by aazzaabb personal trainer though.

Well I had my two free sessions and to have someone setting up the workout and pushing me was great. I highly recommend it. You've had a really great week workout wise. Do you not have a day off? A day of rest is great for the body. Yesterday I had a day off and spent over 3 hours in the gym. I did 20 minutes running and walking, rowing for 6 minutes; a slow minute, a fast minute, a slow minute etc. Some weights; nothing major heavy but reps of 3 sets of 12, 30 press-ups which I was shockingly bad at, some stretching, swimming; only managed 12 lengths, it’s enough, 20 minutes in the steam room. And lots of hanging around taking my time in between all of this. Today at work I went cycling for 2 hours, light cycling, nothing manic but 2 fair hours of exercise and decent enough. I’m waiting on a date for my nose operation also. Can’t wait to be able to breathe through my nose again and have a fuller sense of taste. 😎👍☕️

My sessions each day are one hour max so I don’t need my rest days as such. Yeah I’ve always found press ups tough. Pull ups even worse!

Consistency is the key I guess. Went swimming today and did a 40 minute workout on Wednesday. Worked all day Thursday and finished at 9am yesterday morning. Couldn’t go yesterday because when I sleep at work it’s quite poor. Ive fell off on my diet aswell the past few days. I’m tired and my body is craving sugar. Madonna’s behind this shit!

My fastest long running session ever today, and absolutely delighted with it. 4.2 more miles and I would have either equalled or beaten my PB. Feeling very fit, and very happy. 3 weeks until race day now. Time to bring out the big guns.... THE ROCKY IV SOUNDTRACK

My diet and exercise has gone to crap the past 2 weeks, and right now I don’t care. My last exercise was a yoga class two Fridays ago. I find it extremely difficult at this time of year when the temperature begins to drop and it begins to get dark earlier. I’ll have to get back on it soon.

Measured myself a week or two back and found I had lost almost 5KG since I started a few months ago. That number flunctuates a bit (especially since I don't weigh myself often, and the times I have since I've drunk a good amount of water since so it's always been up).
I've got a lot more casual with my cutting unfortunately, but at the same time I'm not pigging out. Even on days where I might, say, have McDonalds for dinner with friends, I haven't eaten a lot before that anyway so it kind of balances out. Could definitely do better though, when I first posted in here a few months back I was doing quite well there.
Before at the gym I was doing about work outs on 3 workdays and 1 weekend day, where I'd do about 30 minutes of random strength exercises then 30 minutes of cardio. I started getting a bit bored recently but I went to the gym with a friend last week and she showed me a bunch of different machines, and then I went home and did some research into a new plan.
Now I'm basically doing an Upper Body workout on Monday, Lower Body on Tuesday, then Upper Body on Thursday and a Lower Body on Friday to finish off. Definitely found the gym this past week a lot more interesting thanks to the variety in machines I'm using, and it's good to feel more of a burn in the muscles afterwards since I'm targeting either the upper or lower half. It does mean my cardio so far has gone down, so I might have to figure out where to squeeze that in at some point. I'll revisit it sometime soon.
It's cool to see the numbers getting better on the machines though! I've been working on assisted chin-ups/pull-ups recently and I've been dropping a couple KGs off the assisting weights these past couple weeks! Once I get down low enough, might try doing it all by myself. That's a mini-goal
Hope you're all doing well!
