This has always struck me as very strange.
I don't care what anybody says, PPB do not have an ounce of black DNA in their genes. No black man creates three completely caucasian looking children. I have no issue with MJ not being the biological father and I don't agree with the haters that MJ had white kids because he didn't want to be black etc. But I can't be the only fan who completely cringed when Paris was saying she identified as black a few years ago because that's what MJ told her she was?
That's messed up. MJ should've been honest with the kids about their heritage.

You should read up on dna.Or go look at a picture of mark jackson. Michaels cousin whos "white" you think blanket looks caucassin!๐
It very uneducated and ignorant to assume mixed race ppl should look a certain way. Theres enough mixed race celebs like mariah, flashdance actress. Etc etc. And even more so to play to the medias subhuman naration against mj...

Did Paris actually say MJ told her that she was black? I don't recall this.

Under jim crow laws they are. But russ falls for the media agenda that mj hated his race so much that he wanted white adopted kids. He just made sure he went looking for one who had vitiligo!!

I specifically said in my OP that I didn't believe MJ adopted white kids because he hated his race. But I think you're in denial if you think those kids are his own. At the very least they would look mixed race, like 3T, who all have a white mother and black father. Granted Blanket looks a bit darker, but he still doesn't have any black features. Not one of MJs kids looks like a Jackson in the slightest. I can't believe fans are still in denial about this.

3Ts mother is not white๐
. Shes black dominican if i remember right
Theres no such thing as looking mixed race.going by that logic all mixed race ppl who look black must be in denial about their white parent.
As i said explain mark jackson, michaels cousin who is mixed black white and looks like my white jewish great uncle!
So what is the reason for mj not wanting his own kids other than the racist media pushed agenda?
Vitiligo effects around 1% of ppl. So going by your logic mj got really lucky looking for a white baby with vitiligo or hunted out a white person with vitiligo to have a kid for him because he could use that as an argument in the future to say they are my kids.do you even realise how daft that sounds. Sorry russ your the one in denial

I knew Russ started this thread. It's always him with these trashy tabloid/gossip threads.
Who cares? None of our business.

Okay, I'll break the habit and defend Russg a little here. Yes, it's none of our business and yes, MJ was obviously a great father them in the true meaning of the word. But it's also apparent that (as with most things in MJ's life) this is not a straightforward issue & something I've thought about in the past, and part of me doesn't want to think too much about to be honest. I think there should be a place on an MJ forum where if some people want to discuss it, they can do without feeling ganged up on. Those that don't want to comment on it then that's fine also. I mean the most 'popular' thread on this & most forums is about the most controversial topic in MJ's life & sometimes the music threads get very little traction at all, so if someone wants to discuss other aspects of his life then I don't see the issue as long as it doesn't turn into an MJ bashing thread on a fan forum.

Yeah, it's hard to discuss this stuff without certain fans calling you a hater if you don't toe the official party line.
I think it was a taboo subject in the fanbase for quite some time, due to them being kids, but seeing as they're all over 18 now (right?!), I see no reason why this subject can't be discussed in an adult manner.
I don't believe PPB are biologically related to Michael, and that is in no way influenced by hater rhetorics or the media. Almost every member of the Jackson family looks like a Jackson in some way or other. They are a very distinctive looking family, and even third generation Jacksons closely resemble their aunties, uncles and even Joe and Katherine. MJ's kids do not look like Jacksons, nor do they appear to be black. It's called having eyes. Sorry (actually not) if that offends some fans, but it's kind of obvious to me. Of course, they are Jacksons in every way that is meaningful, they were raised in that family and brought into the world by a Jackson, but biologically, it doesn't ring true to me and I wouldn't be surprised if the kids themselves knew that at this point.

I feel something similar cause they donโt even have prominent Jackson traits though I do think Paris looks biracial, so who really knows right

What if they aren't his biological children and he didn't tell them? Prince was 12, Paris 11 when he died. Many parents who adopt don't tell until the child is an adult. You can argue about whether that's right or wrong, but surely MJ wouldn't be the only one with thay choice.

Of course, they are Jacksons in every way that is meaningful, they were raised in that family and brought into the world by a Jackson, but biologically, it doesn't ring true to me. Yeah that's how I feel. And again, being the biological parent is of very little importance compared to being a loving & visible parent but my 'concern'* would be form the kid's emotional state as people deserve to know where they came from. I mean, were they told they were his biological kids but also doubt it or do they know a different truth from us. I've put concern in inverted commas as in the grand scheme of things, I'm no more concerned about PPB that any other kids, I'm a fan of their Dad not the whole family. But obviously I wish them well and all that. Something else I'd add which is why I don't like to think of this too much is why Paris & Prince are white and when younger why Prince (I think) has dyed blonde hair. I know MJ was a proud black man but you can't deny that this does add credence to those that think otherwise. I'm reminded of the last few lines in Black or White, I know the lyric in the Dangerous booklet is 'It's tough for you to get by' but he actually sings 'it's touch for you to be black' (something that's clearer on the DWT Rehearsal) and I wonder if he thought it would be easier for them. I don't know. And like MattyJam said voicing stuff like this, I know will piss some people off, so I'm sort of sorry (I think) for that. But I think it's an interesting sociological discussion and talking about it doesn't make you less of a fan or (when discussed properly) is disrespectful.
