I think they make some money with reality shows, like the one I mentioned above. Or do you remember that lawsuit 3T started against Radar Online a couple of years ago for suggesting MJ molested them? We never got any news about what happened with that. My suspicion is that 3T quietly settled with them rather than pushing them for a public apology. If that assumption is true then they might have made some money with that too. And this will be a bit ugly, but I'm not at all sure Taj didn't spend the money he got from fans for his documentary on his family bills. It's been forever since I watched it but I think Taj brought up the RadarOnline lawsuit when Razorfist interviewed him and Brandi years ago. I recall him saying something about how the lawsuit was ultimately not worth the time/money so it was dropped.

"Anything" is a 90's R&B classic, so maybe the royalties from that aren't too shabby, but who knows? From one song that was a minor hit? I doubt it. I'm not saying they live off of it, but a song that they are the sole writers of that is still in rotation around the world is going to provide some royalties.

So another thing that 3T just didn't have the stamina/motivation/interest to finish... I wonder what else occupies their so valuable time?

Every time I think about what's happened (or rather what HASN'T happened) with this, I get a little more mad. I don't disagree with many negative thoughts that have been put forward in this thread.
One thing that's always in the back of my mind is that the mainstream press could jump on this if/when they want. They could easily run with the story that a Jackson took a bunch of money from fans but then couldn't produce anything with it.

I'm honestly surprised they havent yet, and he will have no one to blame but himself and crawl further into his echo chamber with his excuses.

Lack of experience or whatever, Taj is just an asshole now at this stage. As others have said, good intentions or not this completely plays up to the "Jackson family only ever want to make money off MJs name" shtick. Ultimately, I think the gofundme has likely just funded Taj's first few years of fatherhood. He probably does an interview every six months and justifies it in his head that the expenses are being used for living expenses while he makes the doc. Total dick move and a fraudulent use of the money, but I bet that's what's happened. He's probably scrambling for more money now because he's used it all up on diapers and baby wipes.

Or maybe they really didn't have much of a case and just followed their lawyer's advice? Who knows... One thing that's always in the back of my mind is that the mainstream press could jump on this if/when they want. They could easily run with the story that a Jackson took a bunch of money from fans but then couldn't produce anything with it. That sort of story may come around if/when a trial happens. But I hope not. Last thing we need is another punch in the gonads.

I would never have considered this likely at the start of this whole thing because of his enthusiasm and passion but this is very possible now. I'm just very glad I only donated pennies.

So one and a half years after the last update on his GoFundMe page, Taj now wrote an "update". Once again, nothing substantial was said, besides the general big promises that we have been listening to for over four years. He posted three images of MJ that look like from some home video. Well, he said he will address the allegations. That's it. Nothing about interviews he made, not even just a number about how many he has made so far, no pictures about the production. Nothing substantial at all. "This docuseries is the top priority for me." I wonder how it looks like when something isn't top priority for him... www.gofundme.com/f/re-righting-historyMy sentiment:

"This docuseries is the top priority for me." Thats some solid mansplaining right there. Take out the word "docuseries" and replace it with "garden fence" and it's the exact quote I've been telling Liberian Girl for the last four years.
