1 hrs 51. 95% chuffed. Smashed first 7 miles following an 8min pacer but lost it after that for a bit and had a tough couple of miles. Was gutted when the 1hr 50 pacer overlapped me at last 2 miles and I had nothing left to keep up. Still a personal best though!! Absolutely fantastic, well done Tony! Great time, that's brilliant altogether. I'm delighted for you. Enjoy the relaxation and celebrations Cheers pal. Think I'd have done better with a better night's sleep but what you gonna do. First 7 miles, crazy quick so possibly own fault.

Still quote low after the disaster on Friday, and work is certainly not helping. That's sport though. Weekend away took my mind off it but this morning I'm just off.
Looking forward to getting out there this evening with a fresh week, but reminded of a very tough 5 weeks ahead before the taper begins. Incredibly nervous now so hopefully this will shift to confidence as the weeks go on.

One more great run and you'll be back to your top self.

A good week put down, feeling good and upbeat. Recovery seems very good and looks like I'm heading into a new week in good shape and spirits.

I'm going to start proper increasing my mileage this week (despite the weather being shite and my boss saying I should work more hours!). Want to be at 20m in next couple of weeks. Ideally averaging 9 min miles maximum

Was running for 4 hours on Saturday and only 30 mins of them was dry. Was horrible.

Want to do 20 just to prove to myself I think.

Oh I missed that I think - Oh you'll be 100% fine. 13 or 14 was the longest I'd ran before my first. It was not good. Jesus, when I think back now...

18.2m
1hr 48m
Felt pretty good to be fair. I could actually imagine doing another 8m.
Slightly quicker gets me to sub 4hr so nearly there.
Pretty, pretty good.

VERY good Tony, fair play man. 18 is always the danger zone for me, the 2 times I've hit the wall were at 18. You should be well on it for a sub 4.

Ultra training is not for me. Felt no sense of achievement today after running 30 miles for the first time.
The past few weeks have been tough, and the next 5 will be tougher now that I've realised this ain't my bitch

I'm getting that fucking Ultra medal. It's just shite training is all. It's so long and time consuming and no sense of real achievement after a session. You dont get the same high as if doing hills or 800m sessions. I've lost a lot of speed as a consequence. Definite mental challenge from here on in but I'm able for it. Sean O Kane commented on my run lads.
